Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the re-entrainment of falling dust by providing a re- entrainment preventing plate vertical to the gas flow and free to move in the horizontal direction at the inlet of the final-stage chamber of the dust collecting chambers and hammering the dust collecting electrode at this part alone. CONSTITUTION:With respect to a device for preventing the re-entrainment of dust in an electrical dust collector, a re-entrainment preventing plate 8 vertical to the gas flow and free to move in the horizontal direction is provided at the inlet of the final stage of a dust collecting chamber 1. Consequently, since the gas does not flow at the rear of the preventing plate 8, the dropped dust in not re-entrained and is collected in a dust hopper when a dust collecting electrode 2 at the rear of the preventing plate 8 is hammered. Dust can be thus collected without any troublesome operation and an inexpensive and compact electrical dust collector can be obtained.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a dust re-scattering prevention device for an electric precipitator.

An electric precipitator (hereinafter referred to as EP) usually has one or more dust collection chambers in which a large number of discharge electrodes and dust collection electrodes are suspended, arranged in series in the direction of gas flow. A device in which dust-containing gas is introduced into the dust collection chamber, a high voltage is applied between the electrodes, the charged dust is made to adhere to the dust collection electrode, and the dust collection electrode is intermittently hammered to cause the adhered dust to fall. It is.

゛By the way, in EP, even if the dust adhering to the dust collecting electrode is hammered and dropped, some of the falling dust will be re-dispersed by the passing gas, resulting in dust that cannot be completely collected. . In order to prevent this, the equipment specifications are usually set at 5% below the design value.
I am trying to increase the size and re-collect the re-scattered dust.

There is also another method, for example of the type shown in FIG. In the figure, (1) is a dust collection chamber, (2) is a dust collection electrode, (3) is a partition wall, (4) is a damper, (5) is a dust-containing gas, and (6) is a dust removal gas. That is, the inside of the dust collection chamber of the EP is divided into several blocks by a partition wall (3), and a damper (4) is provided at the entrance of each block. When hammering the dust collecting electrode (2), close the inlet rod bar (4) of the block to be hammered to stop the flow of gas and perform hammering. Therefore, since no gas is flowing through the block to be hammered, the dust that has fallen from the dust collecting electrode (2) is prevented from being scattered again, and the fear of a drop in dust collection efficiency is eliminated.

As mentioned above, in order to prevent the dust inside the EP from scattering again, K should either increase the equipment specifications of the EP by 60 inches larger than the design value, or divide the inside of the EP into several blocks, and reduce the gas flow to each block. This method relies on the method of alternately stopping the inflow and hammering it, but the former has the problem of increasing equipment costs as the equipment specifications become larger, and the latter requires installing a damper in each block. The problem is that the structure is complicated and operation is troublesome. The present invention provides a dust re-scattering prevention device that is relatively inexpensive and has good operability, which solves the above-mentioned problems.

Since the flow of gas stops on the IP outlet side, if the dust collection electrode in this area is hammered, there is no risk that the dust that has fallen from the dust collection plate will be scattered again.

As shown in the figure, a re-scattering prevention plate (8) that is movable in the horizontal direction is provided at the entrance of the final stage of the dust collection chamber (1) of the EP, perpendicular to the gas flow. In the dust collection chamber on the EP outlet side from the prevention plate (8), gas does not flow to the rear part of the prevention plate (8), so it is necessary to hammer the dust collection pole (2) at the rear part of the prevention plate (8). For example, the dust falling from the dust collecting electrode (2) is not scattered again but accumulates in the dust hopper. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 1, when the A3 dust collecting electrode is hammered, the prevention plates (8) may block the gas passages on both sides of the A6 dust collecting electrode. Moreover, the shutoff time is the time required for the dust adhering to the dust collecting electrode (2) to finish falling into the dust hopper at the bottom, and this should be determined experimentally.

It is preferable that the movement of the prevention plate (8) and the hammering order of the dust collecting electrode (2) be linked so that they can be automatically operated.

Since the present invention is equipped with a re-scattering prevention plate that is movable horizontally perpendicular to the gas flow at the entrance of the dust collection chamber of the final stage of the EPo, there is no need to particularly increase the specifications of the GP equipment. It is also necessary to divide the inside of the EP into several blocks with partition plates, operate a damper installed at the entrance of each block to stop the gas from flowing into each block, and in between do so, which requires tedious operations such as hammering the dust collection electrode. It is possible to provide an inexpensive and compact EP that does not cause dust, and it also becomes possible to collect low-resistance dust that is likely to be re-splattered.
