Description

[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to a fixing device for the upper front plate of an upright piano.

Conventional devices of this type are shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 2, and Fig. 3.

The upper front plate 2 is brought into contact with dowels 7 projecting inward from the upper parts of the left and right parent plates 5 on both upper sides of its back surface, and is rotatably provided on the upper back surface of the upper front plate 2. Conventional fixing devices for the upper front plate 2 generally have the above-mentioned structure, but precision is required for planting the dowels 7 on the main plate 5, and it takes time to manufacture. Moreover, since the structure is centered around the dowel 7, fine adjustment of the upper part of the upper front plate 2 back and forth requires cutting the dowel 7, which is very troublesome.

This idea was made in view of the above points, and one piece of the L-shaped member is fixed to the inside of the upper part of the left and right parent plates, and one side of the other piece of the L-shaped member is brought into contact with the back surface of the upper front plate. At least the other surface of the other piece is held down by a rotation stopper rotatably provided on the back surface of the upper front plate.
