I started to be able to do it.

であつた。 There are two methods for making fish prints: the direct method, which involves applying paint directly to the fish, applying paper such as Japanese paper over it, and transferring the paint on the fish to the paper; Apply a piece of paper such as Japanese paper, spray a mist on top of the paper, press the paper lightly with a puff dampened with water to make it adhere to the fish, remove excess water with blotting paper, and then place the paper on top of the fish. An indirect method is known, which involves applying paint to a porous material such as cotton covered with cloth and tapping it lightly so that the paint adheres to the raised areas of the paper. The direct method generally uses water-based paints or ink, which causes bleeding and makes it difficult to obtain clear fish prints.Once a fish print has been made, if you want to make it again using a different color, processing such as cleaning the fish may be required. Compared to the indirect method, this method was unfavorable because it was troublesome.

Conventionally, oil paints have been used as paints for the indirect method due to concerns about the preservation of the work. is made of coloring material, synthetic resin, and vegetable oil. However, works created using this oil paint have problems such as oil bleeding, which significantly reduces the value of the work, and the paint does not spread sufficiently.
