For motorcycles equipped with water-cooled engines, a radiator is essential for cooling the engine, and the radiator is usually placed above the space formed by the main pipe and down tube of the body frame. . A radiator has a large number of small-diameter pipes, fins, etc. through which cooling water flows, and is vulnerable to external shocks, so it is usually covered and protected with a radiator cover.

By the way, conventionally, the radiator cover was attached to the main body using fasteners such as brackets and bolts, which resulted in an increase in the number of parts.
In addition, the manufacturing process of the cover requires an increase in man-hours, and the processing of the mounting portion requires high precision, resulting in disadvantageous results such as a decrease in productivity and a rise in production costs.

The purpose of the present invention is to arrange a radiator cover integrally molded from an elastic material such as synthetic resin so as to be continuous from the lower side of the fuel tank located at the upper rear of the radiator and to cover the radiator. At the same time, a pair of engaging protrusions are provided on the lower surface of the radiator to serve as attachment parts to the vehicle body, and these engaging protrusions are engaged and held by the down tube,
It is easy to install without requiring special fasteners or tools, reduces the number of components of the cover itself, and does not require a high degree of processing precision when manufacturing it.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a radiator cover mounting structure for a motorcycle, which can improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs by reducing the number of processing steps.

Since the radiator cover 11 is thus integrally molded, the number of its constituent parts can be reduced. In addition, since the cover 11 is installed using its own elastic force, there is no need for mounting brackets, bolts, or other fasteners, and the cover 11 can be installed without the need for tools.
In addition to being able to be easily and quickly removed, since the manufacturing of the cover 11 does not require precision in processing the attachment part, the number of processing steps can be reduced.
It is possible to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
