Recently, as shown in FIG. 1, as this type of lighting equipment, a completed ballast 3 is stored and held as an individual inside a cylindrical case 2 fixed to the lower end of a cord 1. There is one in which electrical components such as a switch 5 and a miniature socket 6 are fixed to the lid 4, and a shade 7 is engaged and placed on the lid 4.

However, although the above-mentioned structure has a novel design, since the stabilizer 3, which is completed as an individual, is housed inside the cylindrical case 2, the heat generated from the ballast 3 is transferred to the cylindrical case. The disadvantage is that the heat trapped inside the ballast 3 deteriorates the characteristics of the ballast 3 itself.

As another example of the conventional type, as shown in FIG.
A predetermined amount of compound 32 is injected from the opening of the case 2, and the injection surface of the compound 32 is partitioned with a partition plate 33 to form a space 24 on the opening side of the case 2.
A switch 5 and a ball socket 6 are installed in this space 24.
There are also devices that house electrical components such as, but in this structure, the heat from the lamp 11 is trapped in the space 24, increasing the temperature of the ballast 3,
There are drawbacks such as accelerated deterioration of electrical parts, and the size of the space 24 that is formed varies depending on the amount of compound 32 that is filled. The insertion hole (not shown) of compound 3 is blocked, making it difficult to install shade 7.
Furthermore, the shade 7 is attached to the lower part of the case 2, which is most likely to become hot due to the heat of the ballast element 31 and the heat from the lamp 11. Therefore, there are drawbacks such as the fact that the shade material, which is usually made of synthetic resin, is susceptible to thermal deterioration.

This idea was made in order to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks.The stabilizer element is housed inside a cylindrical case body with openings at both ends, and the compound is filled with the compound.The upper end of the cylindrical case body is closed with an upper lid, and the lower end The lower end is covered and closed by a bottom plate that extends outward from the case body and has a shade engagement part on the periphery to form a ballast, and the electrical component mounting bracket fixed to the bottom plate is used to attach a switch and a miniature bulb. To provide a lighting fixture which can be equipped with electrical parts such as sockets, improve heat dissipation from a ballast, facilitate manufacture, and prevent thermal deterioration of shades and electrical parts.

3 is a stabilizer, and this stabilizer 3 includes a cylindrical case body 2 made of an aluminum extrusion molded product or a metal tube, etc., which is open at both ends, and closes the lower end of this case body 2;
A disc-shaped bottom plate 13 whose peripheral edge extending outward from the diameter of the case body 2 is bent into an L shape to form a shade engaging part 12 has its center of gravity on the central axis of the case body 2. Stabilizer element 3 stored like this
1, a thermally conductive compound 32 mainly made of polyester resin, which is filled in the case body 2 housing the ballast element 31, and a cord insertion hole 15 that closes the upper end of the case body 2 and has a cord insertion hole 15 in the center. The top cover 14 is formed with a top cover 14.
7 has a through hole 16 formed in the center, and the periphery of this through hole 16 is bent downward, and this bent portion 17 forms a lower surface placed on the engaging portion 12 of the bottom plate 13 of the stabilizer 3. 1 is an open deep dish-shaped shade, 1 is a cord hanging from the ceiling, and the tip is connected to the stabilizer 3 above.
The cord is inserted into a cord insertion hole 15 provided in the upper lid 14 of the ballast, and is electrically connected within the ballast 3, while also supporting the weight of the lighting fixture itself. 1
8 is an electric component mounting bracket having a U-shaped cross section attached to the lower surface of the ballast bottom plate 13; 5 is a switch;
Reference numeral 6 denotes a miniature bulb socket into which a miniature bulb 19 is attached, and these are fixed to the lower surface of the electrical component mounting bracket 18. Reference numeral 11 denotes a fluorescent lamp, one end of which is held by a lamp holder 20 fixed to the ballast bottom plate 13, and is connected via a lamp socket 21 to electrical parts such as the switch 5, miniature bulb 19, etc. and the ballast 3.
It is connected to a normal lighting circuit formed by.
Note that 22 is a top cover mounting screw, and 23 is a bottom plate mounting screw.

(b) The ballast element, which is not completed as an individual ballast, is housed inside the case that serves as the outer box of the ballast, and the extra space is filled with a compound with excellent thermal conductivity, so the ballast The heat generated by the element is efficiently transferred to the case body through the compound, resulting in extremely high heat dissipation effect.

(b) Electrical components such as miniature bulb sockets and switches are attached to the electrical component mounting bracket fixed to the lower end of the ballast, so the electrical components are separated from the ballast.
No thermal deterioration caused by heat from the ballast. Moreover, since there is no space provided on the bottom surface of the ballast to house electrical components, the heat generated by the lamp does not become trapped in the space, and the thermal influence of the lamp on the ballast is reduced.

(c) Since both ends of the case body are open, it is easy to install and connect the ballast element, and the compound can be injected from the top side of the case body with the bottom end of the case body closed with the bottom plate. Since it is not necessary to fill the compound so as to form a space at the lower end of the ballast, there is no need to strictly control the amount of compound to be filled, and manufacturing is facilitated.

(d) Since the shade is secured to the periphery of the bottom plate that extends outward beyond the diameter of the case body, heat is less likely to be transmitted, thereby preventing thermal deterioration.

In addition, in the above embodiment, a cord hanging type fixture for one light was explained, but it can also be applied to a cord hanging fixture for two or more lights, and even if a chain or the like is used as a hanging tool, This provides the same effect as the example. Furthermore, the shape of the shade is not limited to that of the above embodiment.

Since this idea was constructed as explained above,
In order to improve the heat dissipation of the ballast and to suppress mutual thermal interference between the lamp and the ballast, the bottom plate
In particular, it can improve the deterioration of ballast characteristics caused by heat.
Moreover, it is possible to provide a lighting fixture that is easy to manufacture and that prevents thermal deterioration of electric parts such as a shade, a light bulb socket, and a switch.
