ない。<Prior Art> As a conventional two-component developer, a so-called carrier, an apparatus for stirring a toner consisting of iron powder and a color pigment is shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B. This figure 1A
The stirring device has two parts in the developer tank 1 containing the developer.
Book rotation shafts 2 and 3 are provided, and screws 4 and 5 in opposite directions are provided on the rotation shafts 2 and 3. still,
A developing roller 6 forms a magnetic brush and develops the latent image. Further, the rotating shafts 2 and 3 and the developing roller 6 have gears or sprockets fixed to each shaft, and are rotated by a drive source via a chain or the like. At this time, the rotating shafts 2 and 3 rotate in the same direction, so that the developer is transferred to the second
The mixture is stirred in the circulation path shown in Figure A. Here, while the developer is flowing, the areas where stirring is effective are between the two rotating shafts 2 and 3, and where the screw 5 of the rotating shaft 3 near the developing roller 6 hits the developer on the developing roller (the small arrow mark). This is the part shown in Figure 2A). In the stirring between the two rotating shafts 2 and 3 in this stirring portion, only the developer pushed out by the screws 4 and 5 of the rotating shafts 2 and 3 is stirred. Therefore, in reality, the developer at the center of both rotating shafts 2 and 3 is stationary, and no difference is seen even if a partition plate is erected between these center portions.

It is not possible to scrape off the entire surface of the developer on the developing roller.
In order to increase this efficiency, it is possible to reduce the pitch of the screw 2 and increase the height of the screw, or to make the outer circumferential (rotational) speed of the rotating shaft faster than the outer circumferential speed of the developing roller. Doing this will inevitably increase the cost of parts, etc. and increase the size of the device.

a, 4b, and 5a, 5b.
This is quite similar to the one in Figure 1A, and a schematic diagram of its stirring state is shown in Figure 2B.It seems that the stirring efficiency is better than that in Figure 1A, but the stirring The route separates into left and right with the center as the border. Therefore, since independent developer flows are formed on the left and right sides, the developer in the developer tank exhibits different concentrations across the center.

In the figure, numeral 7 denotes a developer tank containing a two-component developer, that is, iron powder and toner. As shown in the figure, the developer tank 7 is composed of an SNS and a cylindrical non-magnetic sleeve 8-2 that wraps around the magnet roller 8-1 , which is made up of different odd-numbered poles. A developing roller 8 is provided. The developing roller 8 is provided facing a rotating photosensitive drum 9, and attaches toner to the latent image formed on the drum 9 to make it visible. The developing roller 8 fixes the magnet roller 8-1 and rotates the sleeve 8-2 on the outer periphery in the direction of the arrow to magnetically attract the developer onto the sleeve and convey it to the developing area, and at each pole. A magnetic brush is formed and development is performed. or,
A doctor 10 provided in the developing tank 7 regulates the amount of developer adsorbed onto the developing roller 8, and is designed to keep the amount of developer adsorbed onto the developing roller 8 constant and perform uniform development. ing.

The finished developer is ready for easy separation. Since the inclined fins 12 are provided in this portion, all of the developer is scraped off from the sleeve 8-2 . The scraped developer passes over the scraping plate 11 and passes through the rotating shaft 1.
3 is sent to the screw 14 side. The developer scraped off by the screw 14 is conveyed while being stirred, and the stirred developer is sent to the developing roller 8 via the scraping plate 11 and the like. The developer stirring path at this time is as shown in FIG. 6, and since the developer does not flow in a continuous loop as shown in FIGS. 2A and 2B, the developer stirring effect is very large.

Since the developer is supplied, the agitated developer is always adsorbed onto the developing roller, and the agitation on the developing roller quickly rises. In this case, there is no need for any special means for separating the developer from the developing roller, and the scraping of the developer and the conveyance of the developer are effectively transmitted.

Since there is only one rotating shaft (including a screw), the volume inside the developer tank is reduced compared to the stirring method using two shafts, the developer tank can be made smaller, and less developer can be used.
