[Detailed explanation of the invention] [Industrial application field] This invention is designed to prevent the product and the box from collapsing when placing a product wrapped in a suitable wrapping paper such as vinyl or Hatron paper or an unwrapped product into a cardboard box, etc. This relates to a cushioning member that is inserted between the product and the box to protect the product by preventing friction between the product and the box and absorbing and mitigating external shocks.

Conventionally, synthetic resin cushioning material was incorporated into the four corners of the outer cardboard box, and the target product was placed on top of it. However, for items with easily damaged surfaces, synthetic resin cushioning materials may be used. In order to avoid direct contact, inner paper, a top plate, an inner mount called a base plate, etc. were appropriately inserted between the cushioning material and the product.

However, when inserting the package, it is troublesome because it is necessary to place a cushioning material on the outer box in advance and drop the inner mount or the like onto it, or to glue the cushioning material to the inner mount or the like. In other words, the method of installing the cushioning material in advance requires that the inner mount etc. be carefully placed in line with the corners of the cushioning material, while the method of gluing the cushioning material to the inner mount etc. is also time consuming and is not always satisfactory. It wasn't something I could do.

This idea was created in response to this request, and consisted of cutting out cardboard, etc., assembling it to provide a covering material with an angular cross-section, and attaching two sides of the cushioning material, which is made up of three sides at right angles to each other, to this covering material. The other side of the cushioning material is covered with a tongue protruding from the covering material.

In this way, the cushioning member of this invention, in which the cushioning material and the covering material are integrated in advance, is placed at the four corners of the packaging box during product packaging work, the product is placed from above, and the cushioning material of this invention is placed in the four corners of the upper part of the box. It is used by putting the parts into each container and putting the lid on.

Figures 1 and 2 show the cushioning material 1 used in this invention.
These are used exclusively for the corners of packaging boxes and are made of elastic synthetic resin. In this cushioning material 1, side walls 3, 3 are provided at right angles from two edges of the surface of a substantially quadrilateral base wall 2 having a grid-like crosspiece on the back surface, and these side walls 3, 3 are also abutted at right angles to each other. Each of the side walls 3, 3 also incorporates a core-shaped partition wall. A locking piece 4 that can be folded and overlapped is provided from the other side of the base wall 2, and two protrusions 5, 5 are provided on the inner surface of the locking plate 4, and these protrusions 5, 5 are engaged with each other. Attach the retaining piece 4 to the base wall 2
When stacked on the back surface of the base wall 2, it can be freely fitted into one of the many grooves 6 formed by the grid-like crosspieces on the back surface of the base wall 2.

1 and 11', it protrudes outward by a certain width (approximately the same width as the thickness of the base wall 2 of the cushioning material 1).
Then, there is a fold 1 from one end of the two outer plates 9, 9'.
2 and 12' are provided, and two holes 14 and 14 are provided in one bending plate 13 on the same line in the extending direction of the outer plate 9, and the other bending plate 13 ' is provided with two holes 15, 15 on the same line perpendicular to the direction of extension of the outer plate 9'. Further, a tongue piece 17 is provided from one end of the one inner plate 11' via a fold line 16.

Then, the side walls 3, 3 of the buffer material 1 are inserted from one end of the cover plate 7 into the angular hollow portion 8, as shown in FIG. 4, until one end of the inner plates 11, 11' abut against the base wall 2. and two bent plates 13, 13'
are sequentially stacked on the back surface of the base wall 2. As a result, the two holes 14, 14, 15, 15 in the bending plates 13, 13'
are overlapped at the same position, the locking piece 4 is placed on top of the locking piece 4, and the protrusions 5, 5 are fitted into the groove 6 of the base wall 2 through these holes 14, 15.

The shock absorbing member of this invention consists of a shock absorbing material 1 and a covering material 7, and since the shock absorbing material 1 is covered with the covering material 7 in advance and is locked together, it can be used as a packaging box for storing products as in the past. There is no need to carefully place the damping member separately in the buffer, just put it in place. Therefore, the packaging work becomes extremely simple. Moreover, since the contact surface of the cushioning material 1 made of synthetic resin or the like with the product is covered with a friction-preventing coating 7, there is no risk of damaging the product even if it comes into direct contact with the product. Furthermore, the covering material 7 can be easily assembled by cutting out a piece of cardboard or the like, and by fitting the cushioning material 1 onto the covering material 7 and overlapping the folding plate 13 and the tongue piece 17 as described above, these cushioning materials 1 and It is integrally locked with the covering material 7, and manufacturing of the buffer member of this invention is extremely simple.
