造上できないため、切削面を二分し二つの半径上
に切刃ユニツトを配設しなければならない。切削
面が二分すると切削屑を流す開口も二分されるた
め、一つの開口の断面積が小さくなり、切屑の流
れが不円滑になりやすいという新たな問題が発生
する。又、支持体は、加工に手間のかかる形をし
ている上に、クロムモリブデン鋼等から製作され
るので非常に高価なものであるが、それを交換の
ために切刃の数の二倍も用意することは明らかに
不得策である。
