The developing device of a conventional diazo wet type copying machine will be explained with reference to FIG. In the figure, a developer 1 is stored in a developer container 2, and the lower half of the application roller 3 is immersed therein. The application roller 3 is rotated in the direction of the arrow and supplies the developer 1 to the developing roller 4 while holding the developer 1 on its peripheral surface. The developing roller 4 is in pressure contact with the application roller 3, so that the amount of developing solution on the peripheral surface is limited to a very small amount, and this liquid is applied to the developing roller 4.
The photosensitive paper S is developed by coming into contact with the photosensitive surface of the photosensitive paper S which has been wetted and exposed. The photosensitive paper S is held between the developing roller 4 and the pressure roller 5, and is conveyed to the left in the figure by the rotation of both rollers. The leading edge Sa of the photosensitive paper S separates from the circumferential surface of the developing roller 4 due to its own stiffness, rests on the upper surface of the immovable guide plate 6, and moves along the guide surface of the upper surface of the guide plate 6. The paper advances to a paper ejecting device (not shown).

By the way, in the developing device configured as described above, in most cases, since the paper is strong, the leading edge of the photosensitive paper is located at the contact point C between the developing roller 4 and the pressure roller 5.
Immediately after passing through, it separates from the circumferential surface of the developing roller 4, crosses the gap G, and comes into contact with the upper surface of the guide plate 6. However, if the photosensitive paper S is a curled paper with a wall that curls inward, the leading edge Sa of the photosensitive paper does not separate from the circumferential surface of the developing roller 4 after passing through the contact portion C, or even if it does, it does not separate from the peripheral surface of the developing roller 4. Since the distance is small, it may pass through the gap G. The photosensitive paper passing through the gap G winds around the circumferential surface of the developing roller 4. If the copying machine continues to operate, many layers of photosensitive paper will be wrapped around the circumferential surface of the developing roller 4, increasing the actual diameter of the roller and eventually filling the gap G, causing the guide plate and other Related parts become deformed or damaged.

As mentioned above, most photosensitive paper, unless it is curled paper, transfers onto the upper surface of the guide plate, so the gap G is made relatively large so that even if it rarely gets wrapped around the developing roller, it can be easily removed. be. However, when curled paper is used, the gap G is large and the frequency of wrapping around the developing roller increases. Once wrapped, the guide plate 6 is fixed to an immovable side plate (not shown), and the developing roller 4 and pressure roller 5 are in pressure contact with each other. The task of removing it will be extremely difficult. Furthermore, in the conventional apparatus, it has been proposed that a circuit is opened when the copy receiver is opened to the top as a method for stopping the operation of the copying machine during the removal work of the wrapped photosensitive paper. However, according to this method, although the rotation of the developing roller is stopped, the relative positions of the guide plate 6, pressure roller 5, and developing roller 4 remain unchanged, so the difficulty in removing the wrapped photosensitive paper is alleviated. It is not something that will be done.

These purposes include a developing roller that brings a small amount of developer applied onto the circumferential surface of the photosensitive paper into contact with the photosensitive surface of the exposed photosensitive paper, a pressure roller that presses the photosensitive paper against the developing roller, and a pressure roller that presses the photosensitive paper against the developing roller. In a developing device of a diazo wet-type copying machine, which has a guide plate that receives photosensitive paper being conveyed while being sandwiched between two rollers and guides it to a paper discharge device, a tip portion that is close to the circumferential surface of the developing roller is connected to the developing roller. The pressurizing apparatus further includes a guide plate that is able to swing in a direction away from the developing roller in contact with the wrapped photosensitive paper, and a detection means that detects the swinging of the guide plate and stops the operation of the copying machine. The roller and the guide plate are arranged on a swingable upper side plate, and the developing roller and the detection means are arranged on a fixed lower side plate, and the detection means detects the swing of the upper side plate. This is achieved by a developing device for a diazo wet-type copying machine, which is characterized in that it detects this condition through the diazo liquid copying machine and stops the operation of the copying machine.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing an example of the developing device of the diazo wet copying machine of the present invention. The lower side plate 10 is fixed to an immovable substrate (not shown), and has an upwardly opening notch 10a formed approximately in the center thereof, and a developer container 11 is installed in this notch 10a (only one side is shown). It will be placed. The support plate 14 rotatably supports the coating roller 12 on the lower side and the developing roller 13 on the upper side while contacting each other, and is supported by the lower side plate 10. The lower side plate 10 also includes a pair of transport rollers 15 and 1 for transporting the exposed photosensitive paper.
6 are rotatably supported while being pressed against each other. The photosensitive paper S that has passed through the pair of transport rollers 15 and 16 is then transferred to a developing roller 13 and a pressure roller 1, which will be described later.
The upper and lower guide plates 18 and 19 that guide the contact portion with the upper side plate 20, which will be described later, respectively
and is fixed to the lower side plate 10. Also, the vertical edge 1 of the notch 10a of the lower side plate 10, which is opposite to the conveying roller pair 15, 16.
A micro switch 21 with an actuator 21a facing upward is fixed to the upper end of 0b. Further, a pair of paper ejection rollers 22 and 23 are arranged on the advancing side of the photosensitive paper conveying direction of the micro switch 21, and the upper paper ejection roller 22 is supported on the upper side plate 20, and the lower paper ejection roller 23 is supported on the lower side plate 10, respectively.
On the other hand, the upper side plate 20 (only one side is shown) is a substantially inverted L-shaped plate, the lower end of which is pivoted by a screw 24 screwed into the lower part of the lower side plate 10, and the upper end thereof The support shaft 25 is horizontally suspended between opposing side plates (not shown), and can be engaged by engagement means (not shown) fixed to the lower side plate 10 (this figure shows the engaged state). (shown). In this engaged state, an upper guide plate 1 is disposed on the upper side plate 20 facing the lower guide plate 19 and guides the photosensitive paper S.
8 is fixed, and a pressure roller 17 that presses against the developing roller 13 is rotatably supported. The pressure roller 17 is located above this pressure roller 17.
The pressure roller 26 that presses the upper side plate 20 is supported by the tip of a lever 28 that is biased to rotate clockwise in the plan view around a support shaft 27 fixed to the upper side plate 20. Further, the upper paper ejection roller 22 is supported by the lower side plate 10 so as to be in contact with the lower paper ejection roller 23 and rotated by this. Now, a guide plate 30 is arranged between the developing roller 13 and the pair of paper discharge rollers 22 and 23. Guide plate 3
0 is a plate having a substantially U-shaped cross section and having substantially the same length as the developing roller 13, and arms 31 (only one side is shown) bent upward in the figure are provided at both ends. The tip of the arm 31 is connected to the upper side plate 2
It is pivoted by a screw 32 screwed into the 0. A U-shaped spring 33, made of piano wire, for example, is hung around this screw 32, and one end is attached to the upper side plate 20.
The flat guide plate 30 is locked by a screw 34 implanted in the guide plate 30, and the other end is brought into contact with the upper surface of the rear end portion (the portion close to the paper ejection roller pair 22, 23) of the guide plate 30.
is biased to rotate counterclockwise. A pin 35 implanted in the upper side plate 20 locks the tip end 30a of the guide plate to keep the guide plate 30 in a predetermined position. This tip 3
0a has a bent edge bent upward in the figure, and this folded line is connected to the circumferential surface of the developing roller 13 with a small gap g.
are close to each other at a distance from each other, and even if the leading edge of the photosensitive paper S is slow to separate from the rollers due to internal curl, the leading edge of the photosensitive paper S can be received by the leading edge portion 30a.
It is preferable that the tip portion 30a be disposed near a position approximately 1/4 of a turn away from the roller contact portion C. In addition, while the guide plate tip 30a is in contact with the pin 35, the guide plate rear end 30b presses the actuator 21a of the micro switch 21,
The drive circuit of the copying machine is now closed (see FIG. 3). Therefore, the state shown in FIG. 2 indicates that the copying machine is in operation.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. In other words, the photosensitive paper S is transported by a pair of transport rollers 15 and 16.
, and is guided by guide plates 18 and 19 and sent to the contact portion C between the developing roller 13 and the pressure roller 17 . At the contact portion C, a small amount of developer applied to the circumferential surface of the developing roller 13 comes into contact with the photosensitive surface while receiving pressure from the pressure roller 17, and development is performed.
0, passes through the upper surface of the guide plate 30, and is discharged by a pair of discharge rollers 22, 23 (see FIG. 3). Next, if the photosensitive paper is curled paper that tends to curl inward (see Figure 4), the rollers may separate even after passing through the contact portion C and near the tip 30a of the guide plate. It passes through the narrow gap g and wraps around. The developing roller 13 gradually becomes thicker and comes into contact with the guide plate tip 30a, and the tip 30a is swung away from the developing roller 13 using the screw 32 as a fulcrum. That is, the guide plate 30 uses the screw 32 as a fulcrum and the spring 33
The rear end 30b of the guide plate 30 swings clockwise in the figure against the elasticity of the micro switch 21.
The circuit was opened and the copying machine stopped operating.

Therefore, according to the present invention, the winding of the photosensitive paper around the developing roller is detected and the guide plate is pushed and moved to quickly stop the operation of the copying machine. There is no risk of deformation or damage to components, and safety and reliability are dramatically improved. Secondly, the gap at the tip of the guide plate is smaller than that of conventional devices, so the frequency of curling paper is drastically reduced, and even if curling occurs, the number of wrapped layers is small, so there is no damage to the photosensitive paper. Less is needed. Thirdly, since the leading end of the guide plate is located in the vicinity of a position farther away from the roller contact portion on the advancing side in the roller rotational direction, there is an effect of reducing the frequency of photosensitive paper wrapping, as described above.

In this embodiment, a microswitch is used as the detection means, but the same effect can of course be obtained even if a phototube type using light emitting and light receiving elements is used. Furthermore, it is clear that even if jamming other than wrapping of the photosensitive paper occurs, as long as the tip of the guide plate is pressed down, the operation will be immediately stopped, thereby preventing deformation or damage to related members.

Next, other functions and effects of this embodiment will be explained. FIG. 5 shows a state in which the upper side plate 20 swings about the screw 24 and is opened upward. At this time, the support shaft 25 is disengaged from the lower side plate 10. As clearly shown in this figure, related members are divided into upper and lower halves with the photosensitive paper transport path as a boundary, and can be easily observed and jammed through a space 40 that is open to jamming of the photosensitive paper in the developing device. are being removed. In particular, it has become extremely easy to remove the photosensitive paper wrapped around the developing roller 13.
Moreover, the circuit is opened by the configuration that is a feature of the present invention, that is, the guide plate 30 that had been pushing down the actuator 21a of the micro switch 21 returns the actuator 21a to the free state with the swing of the upper side plate 20. The operation of the copying machine will be stopped and kept in a non-operational state.

Therefore, according to the present invention, when repairing jamming or wrapping of photosensitive paper, simply opening the upper side plate 20 upward provides sufficient space for removing the jamming or wrapped photosensitive paper. At the same time, the copier is kept in a stopped state.
Even if the copying button is pressed, there is no risk that the copying machine will go into operation and cause an unexpected accident to the repair worker. After the repair, the upper side plate is swung back to its original position and the support shaft 25 is engaged with the lower side plate by an engaging device (not shown). Since the relative position of the pair of paper ejection rollers is returned to a predetermined position, there is no need for troublesome adjustment work after repair.
