のではなかつた。 Conventionally, for example, a ceiling bag 9 of a room as shown in FIG.
A step stool is used when using an upper shelf located high up in a room or room because it is difficult to reach. However, conventional step stools have the disadvantage that they are inconvenient to store, and that they take up space and get in the way when not in use.For this reason, step stools are rarely placed in each room, and are therefore often placed in the ceiling. The use of bags 9 and high shelves was a hassle and was not utilized effectively.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the vertical board 1 is formed of a single rectangular board, and the upper part of the surface of the vertical board 1 is located at a distance from the upper end of the vertical board 1 to the thickness of an upper tread board 3, which will be described later. A rectangular column-shaped upper beam 2 is installed horizontally. The upper tread plate 3 is formed of a substantially rectangular plate or the like, and the vertical length of the upper tread plate 3 is set shorter than half the length of the vertical plate 1. The upper tread 3 is hinged to the upper crosspiece 2 by a hinge 10 attached to the front side of the upper crosspiece 2 so as to be vertically movable. When the upper tread plate 3 is rotated to the front side so as to be substantially orthogonal to the vertical plate 1, the end of the upper tread plate 3 facing the vertical plate 1 is placed on the upper surface of the upper crosspiece 2. On both sides of the upper corner of the upper tread plate 3, rectangular notches 11, 11 are formed, and a hook hole 12 is bored in the upper part of the upper tread plate 3. A quadrangular column-shaped lower crosspiece 4 is horizontally attached to the upper and lower central steps of the surface of the vertical plate 1. The lower tread plate 5 is formed of a substantially rectangular plate material, etc., and has locking parts 1 on both sides of the lower corner.
3 and 13 are provided protrudingly. This lower tread 5 is the lower tread 4
It is hinged to the lower crosspiece 4 by a hinge 14 attached to the front side of the vertical plate 4 so that it can move vertically, and when the lower tread plate 5 is rotated to the front side so as to be approximately orthogonal to the vertical plate 1. The end of the lower tread plate 5 on the side of the vertical plate 1 is placed on the upper surface of the lower crosspiece 4. The rear leg pieces 6 are formed into a rectangular column shape and have a length approximately equal to the length of the vertical plate 1, and the lower ends of the pair of rear leg pieces 6, 6 are attached to both sides of the lower part of the surface of the vertical plate 1 by means of hinges 15 that allow the lower ends to be bent up and down. It is hinged for free movement. The front leg piece 7 is formed in the same shape as the rear leg piece 6, and the upper part thereof is located inside the pair of rear leg pieces 6, 6.
It is pivotally supported on the upper part of the body by a single horizontal shaft 16. A horizontal bar 8 is installed between the substantially central portions of both front leg pieces 7, 7.

As shown in the figure, when assembling the front leg pieces 7, 7, pull the front leg pieces 7, 7 toward the front side of the vertical plate 1.
The upper tread plate 3 is placed at the upper end of the front and rear leg pieces 7, 6.
The lower tread plate 5 is placed on the horizontal bar 8. This assembling operation is performed by pulling the front leg piece 7 toward the front side so that the locking portion 1 of the upper tread plate 3 and the lower tread plate 5 is
3 slides on the front surface of the front leg piece 7 to form both upper and lower footplates 3,
5 rotates automatically and can be carried out smoothly. When both the front and rear leg pieces 7, 6 are tilted significantly, the front leg piece 7 is locked by the locking parts 13, 13 of the lower tread plate 5, as shown in FIGS. It cannot be opened. Further, the upper tread plate 3 and the lower tread plate 5 are supported by the upper crosspiece 2, the front and rear leg pieces 7, 6, the lower crosspiece 4, and the horizontal bar 8, respectively, so that their support strength is strong.
Conversely, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, in order to fold this folding step stool, the front leg piece 7 is pulled toward the front of the vertical board 1, and the upper and lower step boards 3, 5 are rotated downward by their own weight. It can be folded up. In this case, the upper ends of the front and rear leg pieces 7, 6 enter the notch 11 of the upper tread plate 3, so that
There is no problem with the rotation of the Front and rear leg pieces 7, 6
By making the thickness equal to the thickness of the upper and lower crosspieces 2, 4, the front surfaces of the front and rear leg pieces 7, 6 and the upper and lower crosspieces 2, 4
The front surface of the platform is flush with the top and bottom treads 3, 5, which can be folded parallel to the vertical board 1 as shown in Figure 5, making it possible to reduce the thickness of the tread. In this state, the front and rear leg pieces 7, 6 and the upper and lower footboards 3, 5 do not protrude from the periphery of the vertical board 1, giving it a nice, smooth appearance.

is stored in a storage section 17 in a closet or chest of drawers, as shown in FIGS. 6 to 8. FIG. 6 shows the device stored in the lower shelf 18 of the storage section 17 so as to be able to slide freely on the bottom surface, and FIG. It was stored by.
Further, FIG. 8 shows a case in which the storage unit 17 is stored leaning against the wall surface of the storage unit 17. If it is stored in this way, it can be stored without taking up much space, and it is not conspicuous and does not spoil the appearance of the room. Because it is located near the machine, it can be easily taken out and assembled.

のである。 As mentioned above, the present invention consists of upper and lower treads that are hinged to the upper and middle parts of the vertical board so that they can move up and down, rear leg pieces that are hinged to the lower part of the vertical board so that they can move up and down, and It is equipped with a front leg piece that is pivotally supported on the leg piece so as to be able to move up and down, and a horizontal bar that is installed between both front leg pieces, and when the front and rear leg pieces are rotated and tilted, Since the upper tread is placed and the lower tread is placed on the horizontal bar, when storing the folding step, the front and rear leg pieces and the upper and lower treads can be rotated and pulled toward the vertical board to reduce the thickness. It can be folded up and stored in a drawer or closet without taking up much space, and can be easily taken out and assembled when ready for use, making it easy to store in a top bag or on a shelf in a high place. It can be used effectively.
