In vending machines, the cash inside the vending machine is periodically collected in order to manage the amount of proceeds and to prevent theft. , collects the cash in the change cylinders in the coin muck, but does not collect all the cash in the change cylinders, and leaves more than a predetermined number of cash in each change cylinder for the purpose of dispensing change in subsequent sales; It is necessary to check whether there are enough coins left so that accurate cash management can be performed. This kind of coin pick management is usually carried out by the installer or operator of the vending machine. For this reason, conventionally, the state of remaining change in the change cylinder is checked, and if the change cylinder does not have a predetermined number of coins, the change coins are replenished. The change tube is replenished until a predetermined number of coins are reached, and if the change tube exceeds a predetermined number, the change tube is dispensed until the change reaches a predetermined number. This process is very time-consuming, and the number of coins may be incorrect due to misunderstandings by the operator, or the operator may forget to check the change at all in a certain change cylinder, especially when managing a large number of vending machines. This is a big problem.

In the present invention, a sensor is provided that can be set at any position in each change cylinder of the coin mock, that is, at the position of a predetermined change coin to be held, and that detects whether or not a change coin is present at the set position. , a change coin dispensing section that operates based on a signal issued by this sensor when detecting the presence of change coins at a set position and dispenses change coins; a change coin replenishment port provided at the top of each change tube; An inventory switch is provided that issues a command to collect the change coins in the change cylinder, and after the inventory switch is operated, the sensor detects the change coin for the change cylinder that turns on when the sensor detects the change coin. Change coins are dispensed by the change coin dispensing unit using the output signal of the sensor until the sensor is turned off, and when the sensor does not detect any change coins and the change cylinder is in the off state, change coins are dispensed from the change coin replenishment port. By replenishing the amount of change coins to turn the sensor on, and then using the output signal of the sensor to dispense change coins using the sensor output signal, the above-mentioned technical aspect can be achieved. It is something that solves problems.

In the present invention, a sensor is set at a position corresponding to a predetermined number of change coins to be held in a change cylinder, and is caused to detect whether or not change coins are present at that position. After operating the inventory switch to collect change coins, if the sensor is off, indicating that no change coins are present at the set position, coins will be replenished from the change coin replenishment port and will exceed the set position of the sensor. The sensor detects the presence of coins and turns on, operating the change coin dispensing section and starting dispensing excess change coins. As a result, the number of coins in the change cylinder decreases again and reaches the set position of the sensor, and the sensor is turned off again, causing the change coin dispensing section to stop dispensing operation. At this time, the change coins are at the position set by the sensor, that is, at the position where the predetermined number of coins are present. Additionally, when the sensor is initially on, indicating that change coins are already present at the set position, the change coin dispensing section immediately operates and starts dispensing excess change coins, and when the set position is reached, the change coins are no longer dispensed. Stop.

である。 FIG. 1 shows a conceptual diagram of a coin mock according to the present invention, in which a coin muck main body 1 has change tubes 2 for each of 10 yen, 50 yen, 100 yen, and 500 yen coins depending on the type of coin used, for example. Each change cylinder is provided with a sensor 3 that can be set at an arbitrary position, that is, a position corresponding to the number of change coins to be held, and a change coin replenishment opening 4 at the top. Reference numeral 5 denotes an inventory switch that is operated when dispensing change coins from the change cylinder, 6 a change input slot, and 7 a change coin dispensing unit that operates in response to signals from each sensor 3 and dispenses change coins from the change cylinder. be.

It is assumed that the change coin 8 is set at the L 0 position, and the change coin 8 is held up to the L 1 position. When the operator operates the inventory switch 5 when collecting cash, since the coin position L1 is below the sensor position L0 , the sensor 3 does not detect the coin, so it is not turned on and is in the OFF state, and the change coin dispensing section is turned off. No signal is sent to 7. Therefore, the operator determines that the number of coins in the change tube 2 is insufficient to the predetermined number, and replenishes the coins 9 from the change coin replenishment port 4 until the coins exceed the set position L 0 as shown in FIG. 2b. When the sensor 3 is replenished to the position , the sensor 3 detects coins and turns on, sending a signal to the change coin dispensing unit 7 and releasing the coins 8 in the change cylinder.
The payout begins. Due to this dispensing, the coins in the change cylinder begin to decrease again, and when the coins decrease to the sensor set position L 0 as shown in Figure 2c, the sensor 3
is turned off again, a signal is no longer sent to the change coin dispenser 7, coin dispensing is stopped, and a predetermined number of coins are retained in the change tube 2.

Alternatively, you can prioritize the operation of the sensor and automatically replenish coins once the coins are dispensed to the set position L 0 . Alternatively, coins exceeding the set position will be paid out and a predetermined number of coins will be held in reserve.

In the figure, the output terminal of each sensor 3 is connected to the change coin dispensing unit 7 via an OR circuit 10 and to one input terminal of a flip-flop 12 via an AND circuit 11.
is connected to the other input end of the The output end of the flip-flop 12 is connected to a so-called CREM, ie, a coin return device 13. When the inventory switch 5 is operated, the flip-flop 12
A set signal is sent to the flip-flop 12.
operates the coin return device 13 to prevent coins from being accepted from the coin slot. On the other hand, when one of the sensors 3 is activated due to the replenishment of coins from the change coin replenishment port, a signal is sent to the AND circuit 14 via the OR circuit 10. When the AND condition is satisfied in between, a signal is sent to the change coin dispensing section 7 and the dispensing of change coins is started. When all the sensors 3 have finished turning from on to off due to coin replenishment and coin dispensing operations, a reset signal is sent to the flip-flop 12 via the AND circuit 11, and the flip-flop 12 releases the coin acceptance prevention to the coin return device 13. This signal indicates that a predetermined number of coins are reserved in each change tube.

According to the present invention, coins are automatically dispensed from the change tube only during the period when a coin is detected by a sensor placed at a position corresponding to the change coin to be held. There is no need to monitor the holding state of coins in the machine, and all you need to do is check the on/off state of the sensor and replenish the amount of coins that are short of the predetermined number, so the supervision is extremely simple. It is possible to accurately hold change coins in a short time.
