レツト群1内の原鉱層7中で通気が行なわれるよ
うになつている。そこでこのウインドボツクス6
における給鉱側端部6A、排鉱側端部6Bおよび
点火炉低負圧部とその他の高負圧部を区分する中
間部6Cにそれぞれエヤシール装置が設けられ
る。

の給・排鉱部および中間部のエヤシール装置を提
供するものであつて、その特徴とするところは、
一方向へ回動する無端状パレツト群とウインドボ
ツクス接続シール板との間に、一対の回転体と該
両回転体間に巻回された無端状体とを有する回動
装置をパレツト群の回動方向と同一方向へ回動可
能に配設し、上記両回転体のうちパレツト群進行
方向の後側の回転体を前側の回転体よりパレツト
側に配置し、上記無端状体にパレツト主梁間の間
隔に適合するピツチで突設されると共に先端が対
向するパレツト主梁の進行方向前側に係合する複
数のガイドプレートを設け、無端状体にパレツト
主梁間の間隔に適合するピツチで複数の弾性シー
ル板を突設し、該各シール板どうしを互いに接合
させる可撓性シール部材を設け、上記各弾性シー
ル板を、往行時にはその先端が対向するパレツト
主梁の底面に当接すると共に復行時にはその先端
がウインドボツクス接続シール板に当接するよう
に構成したことにある。かかる構成によれば、弾
性シール板が対向するパレツト主梁に当接した状
態のまま一体的に回動するので、弾性シール板と
パレツト主梁との間のシール性がきわめて良好で
ある。また弾性シール板とパレツト主梁とが摩耗
しあうこともなく、寿命を長く保持することがで
きる。
