When constructing furniture components such as doors or extractor panels for various types of furniture such as kitchen furniture and general household furniture using wood, separate vertical and horizontal components such as dowels, tenons, etc. Usually, the method of assembling the parts by means of clasping means and then applying an adhesive to the joint surfaces for bonding is adopted.

However, in such conventional joining,
There have been disadvantages in that gaps may occur at the joint due to the quality of processing accuracy of the claving means, or gaps may occur at the joint due to mistakes in gluing work or changes in the moisture content of the wood part. The former type of gap requires the effort of concealing it with a filler such as putty before painting the surface, and the latter type of gap causes cracks in the paint film applied to the surface. However, it caused some inconvenience.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a furniture door to which this invention is applied, and the joint structure of this invention is applied to the joint between a vertical member 1 and a horizontal member 2. Although the illustrated embodiment relates to a door for furniture, it is of course not limited to this, and can be used for all types of furniture made by joining two wooden members, such as extractor mirror plates, membrane plates for sinks, cooking tables, etc. Applicable to members.

Both the vertical and horizontal members 1 and 2 are joined to each other using a desired joining means such as dowels and tenons, and by applying an adhesive to the joining surfaces. Note that the presence or absence of a kumite means and the application of adhesive are not essential.

After joining both the vertical and horizontal members 1 and 2, a film-like tape 3 is applied with an adhesive to the surface of the joint while covering the seam of both the members 1 and 2, and then an undercoat is applied. After the undercoat is applied, the coating film 4 slightly bulges upward at the top of the tape 3, so after it is smoothed, a topcoat 5 is applied for finishing.

The tape 3 may be made of any material as long as it has a slight elasticity that can follow the expansion and contraction of wood due to its equilibrium moisture content, such as plastic tape, Tetron, nylon, silk, etc. Tapes made of cloth such as cotton, nonwoven fabrics, Japanese paper, etc. are suitable. In the case of tapes made of natural materials such as silk and cotton, the threads are twisted during weaving to give the tape elasticity. Also, if the paint has an opaque finish, there is no need to particularly consider the type of tape, but if the paint has a transparent finish, the adhesive should be transparent, and the tape should also be free of adhesives, paints, etc. A material that becomes transparent upon impregnation, such as a silk tape, is suitable.

The adhesive for adhering the tape 3 is not particularly limited as long as it is capable of adhering the tape 3 to wood;
In the case of a tape with a high impregnation rate, the adhesive itself needs to have flexibility to accommodate the expansion and contraction of the tape 3. In the case of cloth tape that does not have adhesive properties, select one with a mesh that allows the adhesive to easily seep out from the front and back surfaces of the tape, and adhere by projection effect rather than chemical adhesion.

As described above, according to this invention, the wooden members 1 and 2 constituting the furniture member are joined by an appropriate means such as adhesive or clasping means, and the wooden members 1 and 2 are joined across the joined part. 5 and the tape 3 is embedded in the coating films 4 and 5, it hides the gaps that occur due to poor processing accuracy and eliminates the need for filling with putty, etc. Since the tape 3 expands and contracts following the expansion and contraction, it is possible to effectively prevent cracks and cracks from occurring in the surface coating.
