[Detailed description of the invention] The core material for sealing parts of this invention relates to improvements in the core material used for weather strips, trims such as automobile doors, engine bonnets, and other sealing parts. The configuration conditions on both sides are the same for each arrangement of the core material, and wide-spaced parts are formed alternately in the center and both sides, making it easy to cut, have a large tensile resistance, and there is no risk of twisting or deformation, making it a sealing part. This relates to a core material that has great pressure support properties when

This core material is usually a thin metal strip-shaped flat plate about 0.5 mm in diameter, with grooves spaced at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction on both sides.
Two longitudinal holes and one longitudinal hole are drilled alternately in the horizontal direction, and a rubber-like substance such as rubber or plastic is coated with an extruder, and after hardening and molding, breaking is performed. This is a core material for forming a seal component by cutting a short space between the longitudinal hole and the groove in a process and curving it in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction so as to fit into the attachment part as the seal component.

That is, the core body 1 in FIG. 1 has longitudinal holes 2 arranged in parallel with their ends aligned in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, leaving side widths SW of the same length in the longitudinal direction on both sides. A notch 4 is formed on the side edge at a relative position of 2, and an engraved part 3 is formed between the notch 4 and the elongated hole 2 so as not to penetrate to the back surface.

○E This center body forms a through-embossed part and a non-through-embossed part, and is stretched both vertically and horizontally by pressing and stretching, and the through-embossed part is opened to form a longitudinal hole 2, and the side width is Since the SW portion is formed to have a particularly thin thickness, cutting defects at the stamped portion often occur during this pressing and stretching process.

The exemplary core shown in FIG. 2 has wide portions 6 and narrow portions 7 alternately formed between the side edge portion 8 and the longitudinal hole 2;
It has a structure in which the cut portion is obtained by forming the gap 7 near the side edge 8, and stress concentration is not obtained in the cut portion during the braking process, so the cut portion is not easily cut and requires a considerable number of braking cycles. Moreover, the number of times of cutting is also variable and varies widely, and there is a drawback that the adhesion between the covering rubber and the core body is reduced by the time it is completely cut, and the rubber is seriously damaged. It also has the disadvantage that it does not provide good performance.

Therefore, as a result of research, the inventors found that it is easy to cut, the number of braking cycles is small and the cutting is concentrated, and the tensile resistance is large and uniform, with less damage to the covering rubber-like material and less decrease in the clamping adhesive force. In this way, there is no risk of twisting and deformation in each process, and the core material has a high supporting strength as a core material.

This core material for seal parts is provided with grooves having curved tips of the same height in the width direction on both sides of a thin metal strip plate, arranged in parallel at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction, and grooves facing each other in the width direction. In between, rows with two longitudinal holes drilled and rows with one longitudinal hole drilled in the horizontal center are provided alternately in the longitudinal direction. A short spaced part is formed between the mutual curved tips of the groove part and the longitudinal hole, and a wide spaced part is set between the central longitudinal hole at the center of the width and the groove parts on both sides, The short distance is between the mutually curved tips of the groove and the elongated hole, so that it is very easily cut during the braking process.
The cross-sectional area is made as small as possible, and the area near the short distance is formed by connecting the upper and lower covering rubber-like materials to strongly sandwich and hold it elastically. The bending stress that is repeated during the cutting process is concentrated, and the rubber-like material is used to elastically support the material even after cutting, and the cut portions are formed symmetrically on both sides of the same arrangement, and the uncut portions are connected. Widely spaced parts are formed alternately in the center and on both sides, so that the tensile resistance is uniform and large.
It constitutes a core material that has a large supporting capacity as a core material and is highly stable without the risk of twisting or deformation.
Note that the shapes of the curved tips of the grooves and the elongated holes are not limited to those shown in the drawings of the embodiments, and suitably colored deformation curves may be considered as necessary.

As described above, in the core material for sealing parts of this invention, since the short interval parts SI are formed on both sides of the straight line in the same arrangement, the repeated bending operation in the braking process can be easily and smoothly performed. The bending stress is concentrated on both short-spaced parts, and the number of times of braking is reduced to prevent damage to the rubber-like material and a decrease in the clamping and covering force. Because it is formed, the tensile resistance is large and uniform, there is no risk of twisting or deformation in the manufacture of seal parts, and it is extremely stable, and it also has great support as a core material. .
