油滴の量が一定しないためローターカツプへの供
給油量が変動し燃焼が不安定であつた。又、軸を
伝つて落ちる油がローターカツプを回転させる電
動機にかかり、故障の原因にもなつていた。その
対策として不回動状の受皿を送油口の下に設け、
そこで落下油滴を受け貯まつた石油を拡散体に移
行させるようにしたものがあるが、拡散体は回転
するため受皿との間にどうしてもすきまを設けね
ばならず、そのすきまから回転軸を伝つて油滴が
垂れるため大きな効果は得られず、又このすきま
のシール手段としては構造が複雑なものが必要と

無くし安定燃焼を可能にするとともに、電動機に
油滴がかかることも防止され故障を少くすること
