【考案の詳細な説明】
この考案は、オートバイ等に用いるエンジンの

オートバイで大型のものでは、4気筒のエンジ
ンが用いられることがあり、その場合各気筒の排
気孔に連結した4つの排気管を一個所にまとめ、
1つのマフラに連結することがある。その場合、
一般には、第1図乃至第3図に示すように、マフ
ラ1の前端に連結片2を設ける。そして、連結片
2は、第2図に示すように外形が円筒状をしてい
るか、又は、第3図に示すように正方形の筒状を
していて、4つのパイプ孔3を正方形状になるよ
うに設け、エンジン4の4つの排気管5の尾端
を、各々4つのパイプ孔3に挿入して連結してい
る。ところが通常オートバイの排気管5は、エン
ジン4の下側を通るように配置されているので、
連結片2が大きく、下側に突出する形になり地上
との間隔が少くなり、特に路面の悪い場所では、
