Conventionally, in automotive air conditioners, the temperature of air passing through an evaporator has been detected in order to control the temperature by moving an air mixer door. That is, the temperature sensor 14 is provided downstream of the evaporator 6 provided in the air conditioning case 5 and up to the heater core 7. This temperature sensor 1
4 is affected by heat radiation from the heater core 7,
It had a defect that the temperature of the air passing through the evaporator 6 could not be accurately detected.

For this reason, the purpose of this invention was to prevent the temperature sensor from being affected by thermal radiation, and its feature is that a shielding plate is provided downstream of the temperature sensor and up to the heater core. The plate prevents heat radiation from the heater core and eliminates the influence from the heater core, thereby achieving the above object.

In FIG. 2, an automotive air conditioner is shown,
Either one of the inside air port 1 and the outside air port 2 is opened depending on the position of the inside/outside air switching door 3, and inside air or outside air is introduced into the air conditioning case 5 via the blower 4 and sent to the downstream side. An evaporator 6 for cooling air is disposed on the downstream side of the blower 4, and a heater core 8 is disposed on the downstream side of the evaporator 7.
The air that has passed through the evaporator 6 is transferred to the heater core 7
The air is divided into those that pass through the heater core 7 and those that bypass the heater core 7 depending on the opening degree of the air mix door 8 provided in front of the air mixer. It is blown into the vehicle interior, and further blown out from the defrost outlet 13 by opening and closing the defrost door 12.

The temperature sensor 14 is a heat-sensitive element such as a thermistor, and detects temperature as a change in resistance value. This temperature sensor 14 protrudes from the air conditioning case 5, and its height A is approximately 5 cm to 7 cm. Shielding plate 15
is downstream of the temperature sensor 14 and the distance B is 2 cm to 3 cm.
The height C is about 7cm to 9cm. This shielding plate 15 is shown enlarged in FIGS. 3 to 5, and consists of a mounting lid 16 for integrating with the air conditioning case 5, and a shielding plate 17 erected on the mounting lid 16. An air ventilation portion 18 is formed in the shielding plate 17 to prevent ventilation resistance.

As described above, according to this invention, the temperature sensor is protected from heat radiation from the heater core by the shielding plate. Moreover, the shield plate is separated downstream from the temperature sensor, and the shield plate has an air passage through which the air flowing around the temperature sensor passes. It is possible to accurately detect the air temperature without
It is possible to reduce ventilation resistance.
