2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, this type of painted resin parts and methods for manufacturing the same include those shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, for example. In the figure, 1 is a resin bumper for a vehicle, which is an example of a painted resin part, and 2 is a resin material, and this resin material 2 is made of, for example, polyolefin plastic such as polypropylene. Then, on the surface 3 of this resin material 2, its upper surface portion 4 and lower surface portion 5 are
Painted parts 6 are partially formed to improve the appearance, and the belt-shaped central part left between these painted parts 6 is made into an unpainted part 7 in consideration of peeling of the paint film due to scratches and design. . Also, the painting part 6
An overcoat layer 9 is applied to the surface 3 of the resin material 2, specifically the upper surface portion 4 and the lower surface portion 5, via an undercoat layer 8. The undercoat layer 8 is made of resin material 2
It is intended to improve the adhesion of the top coat layer 9 to the surface, improve the finished appearance as a sealer or barrier coat, and further serve as a filler when the resin material 2 is porous. It is applied sparingly. Furthermore, the top coat layer 9 is intended for color matching with the exterior coating of the vehicle body, and is applied to a certain degree of thickness in order to achieve color density. next,
A method of manufacturing such a resin bumper 1 is as follows.
First, a masking jig is brought into contact with a portion corresponding to the unpainted portion 7 of the surface 3 of the resin material 2, which has been previously processed into a bumper shape, or a masking tape is applied, and the exposed surface 3 is swollen in, for example, triclene vapor. For example, a chlorinated olefin paint is applied thereto for primer coating, and then baked at a temperature of about 80°C for a predetermined period of time to form an undercoat layer 8, and then, for example, a urethane paint is applied to this undercoat layer 8. Approximately 80℃ after
An overcoat layer 9 of a predetermined color is formed by baking at a temperature of 2 for a predetermined time, and a resin bumper 1 in which the surface 3 of the resin material 2 is partially coated is manufactured.

However, in such conventional coated resin parts and manufacturing methods thereof, the undercoat layer 8 is applied relatively thinly and the topcoat layer 9 is applied thickly. A situation may occur in which the edge 10 of the edge 10 becomes particularly thin and cannot reach a predetermined position.
As a result, the edge 11 of the topcoat layer 9 extends beyond the edge 10 of the undercoat layer 8 and reaches the part where the undercoat layer 8 is not applied, so that the edge 11 of the topcoat layer 9 In addition, since the top coat layer 9 is often made of a urethane paint with a high tensile strength as described above, if force is applied to the edge 11, it will peel off easily. The problem was that it would peel off over a wide area, mainly on the surface.

In order to achieve such an object, the present invention firstly applies an undercoat layer having good adhesion to the resin material partially on the surface of the resin material, and covers surfaces other than the edges of the undercoat layer. A top coat layer with good adhesion to the undercoat layer was applied to the entire surface, and only the edges of the undercoat layer were slightly protruded from the edges of the top coat layer to ensure adhesion of the edges of the top coat layer. First, a mask jig corresponding to the shape of the shrinkable resin material after the undercoat baking process is formed in advance, and this mask jig is brought into contact with the unshrinkable resin material to apply the undercoat, and then the resin material is baked to form the resin. An undercoat layer is partially formed on the surface of the material, and in the contracted state after baking, the same mask jig as above is brought into contact with the resin material to cover the edges of the undercoat layer, and then the undercoat layer is applied. To provide a method for producing painted resin parts that can easily and reliably make the edge of the undercoat layer protrude from the edge of the topcoat layer by applying a topcoat on the layer and baking it to form the topcoat layer. That is.

FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an embodiment of the painted resin part according to the present invention. This resin bumper 20 as a painted resin part includes a surface 3 of a resin material 2, specifically, an upper surface portion 4 and a lower surface portion 5, leaving an unpainted portion 7.
An overcoat layer 9 is applied to the undercoat layer 8 through the undercoat layer 8 to form a partially painted part 6, and the edge 21 of the undercoat layer 8 on the unpainted part 7 side of this painted part 6 is coated with the overcoat layer 8. The layer 9 is made to protrude toward the unpainted portion 7 by a length l from the edge 11. Therefore, the edge 1 of the top coat 9
1 is reliably applied on the undercoat layer 8 to improve adhesion and prevent it from peeling off. Also,
Since the edge 21 of the undercoat layer 8 is exposed to the outside, the color of the undercoat layer 8 is set to be the same as or compatible with the color of the topcoat layer 9, or to be colorless and transparent to improve the appearance. Just do it.

Next, a method for manufacturing the resin bumper 20 will be explained with reference to FIG. 4. First, the mask jig 22 corresponds to the shape of the resin material 2 in the contracted state after the undercoat baking process (see Figure 4 C and D).
is formed in advance. Next, this mask jig 22 is attached to the resin material 2 before shrinkage [see Figure 4 A and B].
After applying an undercoat to the upper surface 4 and lower surface 5 of the resin material 2 surface 3, the resin material 2 is baked at a temperature of, for example, 80° C. for a predetermined period of time to remove the upper surface of the resin material 2. An undercoat layer 8 is partially formed on the lower surface portion 5 (see FIG. 4C). Here, the resin material 2 is in a contracted state due to heating in the undercoat baking process. Then, in the heat-shrinked state after baking, the same mask jig 22 as described above is brought into contact with the unpainted portion 7 of the resin material 2 [FIG. 4D]. Then, the mask jig 22 comes to cover the edge 21 of the undercoat layer 8 by a length l. Therefore, if a top coat is applied to the undercoat layer 8 in this state and baked for a predetermined time at a temperature of 80° C. to form the topcoat layer 9, the edge 21 of the undercoat layer 8
It is possible to easily and reliably manufacture the resin bumper 20 in which the upper surface portion 4 and the lower surface portion 5 are partially provided with the coated portion 6 in which the painted portion 6 is projected by a length l beyond the edge 11 of the top coat layer 9. It is a matter of fact.

In the above explanation, a resin bumper was shown as an example of a painted resin part, but this is not limited to this example, and the application can also be broadly applied to painted resin parts that can be partially painted, such as resin molding. It is applicable. Furthermore, the same results as in the above manufacturing method can be obtained by using a masking tape set similarly to the mask jig 22 instead of the mask jig 22.

As explained above, according to the painted resin parts of the present invention, the edges of the top coat layer are applied directly to the surface of the resin material, and the adhesion of the edges of the top coat layer to the resin material is reduced. This can be reliably prevented, and as a result, the peeling of the top coat layer can be prevented and the appearance can be improved.Furthermore, according to the method for producing coated resin parts of the present invention, the coated resin having the above-mentioned effects can be produced. This has the effect that parts can be manufactured easily and reliably.
