The blades used for cutting raw wood, which are often used in conventional veneer lace, are 10 to 16 mm thick and 180 mm high.
It is a large, single piece with a front and a back, and each time the cutting edge becomes damaged, it is removed and re-sharpened for repeated use, but due to its size, a crane is required to install and remove it. Not only is there a problem in replaceability, but when resharpening, even if only a portion of the cutting edge is damaged, it is necessary to always grind uniformly over the entire length. Since the polishing is long, distortion (warpage) due to polishing heat is likely to occur, so re-polishing must be performed at extremely low processing efficiency. The total consumption and processing costs required for this are not small, and the Practicality and economy were poor.

Therefore, prior to the development of the present invention, the present inventor used a plurality of split blades 1 of the same height, which are disposable in principle, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, and Each cutter 1 is placed on a plane stand 2 having a reference surface 3 and a support surface 4 on which the split cutter 1 comes into contact, and is tightened via an appropriate number of split tightening plates 5 having a clamping surface 6. The divided cutter 1 is fixed to the planer sink 2 by a clamping means using a bolt 7 or, although not shown, a clamping means using a cylinder operated by known air pressure, hydraulic pressure, etc. We developed a cutlery device with this structure in an attempt to overcome the drawbacks of conventional large cutleres.

According to the improved cutter device configured as described above, each cutter is extremely light, so it has the advantage of being extremely easy to install and remove, and if the edge of the cutter is damaged, only the relevant cutter can be removed. Since you can just replace it with a spare, it has good replaceability in general and has the advantage of not requiring re-sharpening. However, on the other hand, in order to secure the knife by pressing through the clamping plate as described above, it is difficult to Since it is not possible to make the cutter economically ultra-small, in other words, it is necessary to make the cutter large enough to be fixed to the planer stand by pressing through the clamping plate. If a cutlery is discarded due to damage to the cutting edge, consumption costs tend to increase, so overall, although it is more practical and economical than the conventional large cutlery mentioned above, it has achieved particularly remarkable results. It turned out that this was not possible.

The present invention is based on the improved cutter device disclosed in FIGS. 1 and 2, in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional large cutlery mentioned above and achieve particularly remarkable effects on practicality and economy. It has been completed with further improvements, and specifically, a height adjustment mechanism is attached to each of the divided blades that are divided into multiple pieces with arbitrary dimensions in the direction parallel to the main axis of the veneer lace. At the time of installation, in order for the cutting edge of each divided cutter to have a straight shape, the height of the cutting edge of each cutter is adjusted to the same height in advance based on the adjustment of the height adjustment mechanism, and each cutter is placed on a veneer lace planer stand. This is a cutter device that is placed on and fixed to the machine.

According to the cutter device configured in this way, each cutter is relatively light, so it has the advantage of being easy to install and remove, and if the cutting edge of the cutter is damaged, only the relevant cutter can be kept as a spare. Not only is it easy to replace the blade, but each blade has an individual blade height adjustment function, so you can re-sharpen a blade with a damaged edge and use it again. Therefore, regardless of the size of the cutter, it is possible to significantly reduce consumption costs compared to the conventional large cutlery mentioned above, and since each cutter is relatively short, Since it is difficult to generate distortion and can be re-polished extremely quickly, the processing cost required for it can be significantly reduced, and overall its practicality and economic efficiency are significantly improved, making it effective. be.

As illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4, the cutter device according to the present invention has height adjustment for each of the divided cutleres 1 which are divided into a plurality of parts with arbitrary dimensions in the direction parallel to the main axis of the veneer lace. A mechanism, for example, a height adjustment mechanism consisting of a cutter holder 5a equipped with a height adjustment screw 11 as shown in the figure, is connected to a height adjustment mechanism, for example, by a set screw 7.
In addition to being locked and attached at b, based on the adjustment using the height adjustment screw 11 of the attached cutter holder 5a,
Align the height of the cutting edge of each knife 1 to the same height in advance,
A clamping plate 1 that places each blade 1 on a veneer lace plane stand 2 and tightens each blade holder 5a, for example.
By tightening with the tightening bolt 13 via 2,
By fixing, the cutting edge of each divided cutter 1 is configured to have a straight shape when installed.

In addition, in order to prevent abnormal cutting due to mismatching of the cutting edges, an indicator 15 such as a dial gauge as shown in FIG. This can be done very easily by adjusting the height adjustment screw 11 so that the indicator 15 indicates a predetermined value after placing each cutter 1 on the blade height adjuster 14.

The cutter device according to the present invention is configured as described above, for example, and if necessary, the clamping means may be changed to one using a known cylinder, but in any case, Each blade is relatively light, so it has the advantage of being easy to install and remove. Also, if the edge of a blade is damaged, you only need to replace the relevant blade with a spare, which improves overall replaceability. Of course it is good,
Since each knife has a separate blade height adjustment function, it is possible to re-sharpen a knife with a damaged cutting edge and use it again, so regardless of the size of the knife, it can be Consumable costs can be significantly reduced compared to other tools, and since each blade is relatively short, distortion due to polishing heat is less likely to occur, and resharpening can be performed extremely quickly. It is effective because the required processing cost can be significantly reduced and the practicality and economical efficiency are greatly improved overall.

As illustrated in the above embodiment, if each blade is configured to be clamped separately, the clamping of the damaged part of the blade can be released to a limited extent and replaced with a spare, making replacement convenient. However, the design is not limited to this, and the design may be changed as appropriate as long as the fixing function is not impaired.
The design is not limited to the embodiment described above, and the design may be changed as appropriate as long as the height adjustment function of the cutting edge is not impaired.
