Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the unification of an inspection judgement standard and to perfectly eliminate a judging error while attaining the shortening of a test time, by providing such a mechanism that a reading part is mounted to a printing head and a printing result can be automatically tested if printing data is fed out. CONSTITUTION:The printing head part 10 of a printer moves a head guide 11 left and right and the character or mark based on printing data is printed on supplied printing paper 8. The image scanner part 12 reading this printing result is mounted to the printing head part 10 of the printer and moves in the same way as the printing head 10 during printing. The image scanner part 12 successively scans the previously printed character and feeds out the obtained data to a read data reading part 13. The read data reading part 13 performs the delivery of a character from the fed data and extracts the characteristics of the character to process the same while the distance calculation of the obtained data and printing data with a standard pattern is performed and printing quality is judged from the result of said distance calculation.

く文字等を光学的走査によって読み取る読取回路と、前
記入出力装置の印字コントローラ部へ印字データを供給
する印字データ送出部と、前記読取回路で読取った文字
等とそれに対応する印字データ送出部の印字データとを
一定の方式により比較し、良否の判定を行なう印字結果
良否判定回路とから構成しである。

ータと印字データとを一定の基準により比較し、良否を
判定する構成であるので、検査判定基準の統一ができ、
判定ミスを皆無にするとともに試験時間を短縮できる効
果がある。
