As shown in the figure, a sounding unit has a sounding body such as a piezoelectric buzzer installed inside a resonance box A which has a circular shape that matches the shape of the sounding body and has a sound emitting tube B at a peripheral edge position eccentric to the center of the circle. I have something prepared. In a wristwatch with a sound alarm function, as shown in Fig. 2a, a sound emitting port E is formed at the periphery of the upper wall of the watch case C, avoiding the display window D, and when the above sounding unit is used, Since the sound emitting tube B is located on the periphery of the resonance box A, the resonance box A can be placed closer to the inner periphery of the watch case C without requiring a large arrangement space for the resonance box on the periphery of the watch case C. There are advantages.

Therefore, the above-mentioned sounding unit is connected to the watch case C.
When storing it in the housing of, for example, a clock module provided inside, a circular storage part sized to match the resonance box A is formed in the housing, and the resonance box A is inserted into this storage part. . However, during assembly work, it is necessary to position the sound emitting tube B so that it faces the sound emitting port E of the watch case C and store the resonance box A, but both the resonance box A and the storage part have a circular shape. Since the resonance box A rotates freely within the storage compartment, it is difficult to align the positions of the sound emitting tube B and the sound emitting port E, and as shown in Figure 2b, the sound emitting tube B is aligned with the sound emitting port C. There is a problem in that the assembly work is very troublesome because positional deviation is likely to occur.

Further, a sounding unit 20 is housed in a sounding unit housing portion 7d formed in the housing 7. As shown in FIGS. 6a and 6b, the sounding unit 20 has a sounding body 23 provided inside a resonance box 22 having a sound emitting tube 21. The resonance box 22 is made of synthetic resin, for example, and since the sounding body 23 is circular in order to enhance the sounding effect, it is formed as a box having a circular planar shape to match the shape of the sounding body. A sound emitting tube 21 in the form of a cylinder whose upper and lower ends are open is integrally formed upward at a position O2 that is eccentric by a predetermined distance with respect to the circular center O1 of the resonance box 22 in the section. In the embodiment, the outer circumferential line of the sound emitting tube 21 coincides with the outer circumferential line of the resonance box 22. A circular protrusion 24 concentric with the sound emitting tube 16 is integrally formed on the outer periphery of the sound emitting tube 21 at the middle in the height direction, and this protruding portion 24 projects outward from the outer periphery of the resonance box 22. The protrusion 24 has a diameter (that is, a protrusion height from the outer periphery of the sound emitting tube 21), and the portion of the protrusion 24 facing the periphery of the resonance box 22 protrudes outward from the outer periphery of the resonance box 22. When the resonance box 22 is viewed from above, a portion of the protrusion 24 protrudes outward from the circular outer periphery of the resonance box 22 in an arc shape. For example, a piezoelectric buzzer is used as the sounding body 23, and is held and provided inside the resonance box 22. Further, the storage section 7d is formed on the peripheral side of the housing 7 corresponding to the upper surface peripheral portion of the watch case 1 in which the sound emitting port 5 is formed, and has an upper part so that the sound generating unit 20 can be inserted and stored from above. It is an open recess. The housing portion 7d is formed, for example, across the bottom and peripheral wall of the housing 7, and has a depth corresponding to the height of the entire resonance box 22 including the sound emitting tube 21, and the bottom portion 7d1 has a diameter corresponding to the resonance box 22. It has a circular shape. A groove 7d 2 having an arcuate cross section along the vertical direction is formed on the circumferential wall of the housing 7 , which has an arcuate shape surrounding the upper part of the bottom portion 7d 1 of the storage portion 7d, at a position facing the sound emitting port 5 of the watch case 1 . It has been formed. This groove 7d2 corresponds to a part of the protrusion 24 protruding from the outer periphery of the resonance box 22. That is, if a circle having the same diameter as the protrusion 24 is drawn centered at a position eccentrically located at the same distance as the sound emitting tube 21 with respect to the circular center of the bottom 7d 1 , a part of this circle will be drawn from the center of the bottom 7d 1 . It protrudes outward from the outer periphery, and this protruding portion is formed as a groove 7d2 .
The groove 7d 2 is open on the upper surface of the peripheral wall of the housing 7 and has a height corresponding to at least the height of the protrusion 24 from the upper surface of the peripheral wall. The resonance box 22 of the sound generating unit 20 is placed in the storage section 7d.
The sound emitting tube 21 is placed in the bottom portion 7d 1 of the housing 7 surrounded by the circumferential wall of the housing 7, facing the groove 7d 2 . The protruding portion is inserted into and engaged with the groove 7d2 from above. That is, the resonance box 22
The position of the sound emitting tube 21 is set so that the portion of the protrusion 24 protruding from the outer periphery of the resonance box 22 engages with the groove 7d2 , and the sound emitting tube 21 is stored in the storage portion 7d. In this case, since the position of the sound emitting tube 21 is set to be directly below the sound emitting port 5 of the watch case 1, and the groove 7d 2 is formed,
Due to the engagement between the protrusion 24 and the groove 7d2 , the sound emitting tube 21 is positioned and fixed in position facing the sound emitting port 5 and directly below it. Further, due to the engagement between the protrusion 24 and the groove 7d 2 , the resonance box 22 is prevented from rotating in the circumferential direction at the bottom 7d 1 . Further, a cylindrical gasket 25 is fitted into the upper part of the sound emitting tube 21 and supported by the protrusion 24, and the upper end of this gasket 25 surrounds the sound emitting port 5 and is in close contact with the inner surface of the upper wall of the watch case 1. Thus, the sound emitting port 5 and the inside of the watch case 1 are isolated. Note that the sounding body of the sounding unit 20 is connected to the circuit of the wiring board 9.

Then, when the sounding body 17 of the sounding unit 14 is driven by the signal, the air inside the resonance box 22 vibrates and a sound is generated, and this sound passes through the sound emitting tube 21 and then exits from the sound emitting port 5 of the watch case 1. Released to the outside.

Therefore, when assembling the sounding unit 20 inside the watch case 1 in this electronic wristwatch, the resonance box 22 is inserted into the storage section 7d of the housing 7 from above while the protrusion 24 is inserted into and engaged with the groove 19 from above. As a result, the sound emitting tube 21 is positioned at a position corresponding to the sound emitting port 5 of the watch case 1, and at the same time, the resonance box 22 is prevented from rotating and can be stored in the storage portion 7d.

Note that the protrusion provided on the sound emitting tube of the resonance box may be formed integrally with the sound emitting tube, or may be formed separately and fixed to the sound emitting tube by means such as adhesive. An electromagnetic buzzer can also be used as a sounding element.
The sound generating unit storage section is not limited to the embodiment, and may be formed directly on the device case of a small electronic device, for example. The present invention is applicable not only to electronic wristwatches but also to a wide variety of small electronic devices equipped with a sound alarm function.

As explained above, the small electronic device with a sound reporting function of the present invention is provided with a circular protrusion that partially protrudes from the edge of the resonance box on the eccentric sound emitting tube of the sound generating unit,
This protrusion supports the gasket that is inserted into the sound emitting tube and presses the gasket around the sound emitting port of the case, which not only makes waterproofing easy and reliable, but also allows the sound emitting tube protrusion to resonate. Since the positioning is performed by engaging the arcuate portion projecting from the edge of the box with the groove formed in the side wall of the sound-producing unit accommodating portion of the frame, positioning can be effected with a simple structure.
