この発明は主としてマンホールの鉄蓋と鉄枠と

腐蝕が進んでしまい、マンホール鉄蓋の耐用年数
よりはるかに速く使用できなくなつてしまう欠点
が存在した。そこで下水道管内に配設されても耐
食性に優れた鎖として球状黒鉛鋳鉄又は可鍜鋳鉄
にて鋳造された鎖が実願昭56−50752号或いは実
願昭56−89528号に提案されている。これらの鎖
は形の異なる閉鎖部と開鎖部とを鋳造にて別個に
製作し、閉鎖部と開鎖部とを交互に組み合わせ、
開鎖部の空隙部分付近を加熱したところで力を加
え空隙部分を閉じることにより、鎖を形成するも
のであるが、閉鎖部と開鎖部との連結工程の作業
能率がはなはだ悪く、製品価格も高価になる欠点

以下、本発明の実施例を図面に従つて説明す
る。第1図は直線状の連結部の両側に円状の閉鎖
部を有する同形状の構成部材を複数個連結してな
る鎖を示し、この鎖の構成部材の1を第1の鎖部
1とし、他の1を第2の鎖部15として、これら
第1の鎖部1と第2の鎖部15とを交互に連鎖さ
せて鎖を構成するものとする。そこで、まず最初
に、通常の方法にて第1の鎖部1を鋳造する。す
なわち鋳型に球状黒鉛鋳鉄或は可鍜鋳鉄等の鋳鉄
を鋳込んで第2図のような第1の鎖部1を鋳造す
る。この第1の鎖部1は直線状の連結部2の両側
にそれぞれ円形状の閉鎖部3,3が形成されてい

ことにより、第2の鎖部15の鋳型12を製作す
る。すなわち、部分鋳型7,7の型材5,5を要
部鋳型11の両側部に位置せして垂直に埋込む
と、部分鋳型7,7の環状空洞8切断部9,10
と部分鋳型7,7の閉鎖部3,3との寸法関係は
前述のようなものであるので、環状空洞8の切断
部9,10は、部分鋳型7,7の閉鎖部3,3が
埋込まれる過程で閉鎖部3,3に崩されて消滅
し、この切断部9,10の位置に部分鋳型7,7
の貫通穴6,6が代わつて位置することになる。
したがつて要部鋳型11の両側の一部が欠けた環
状空洞8,8は、その欠けた一部が貫通穴6,6

2の鎖部15を鋳造するための鋳型の間に配設さ
れる第1の鎖部1はその両方の閉鎖部3,3にそ
