シートクツシヨンから大きく離れて位置する第一
位置と、この第一位置よりも前席シートクツシヨ
ンに近接する第二位置との間で移動可能に設けら
れたニープロテクタ本体と、前席シートクツシヨ
ンより上位に配置されていて、ニープロテクタ本
体を回動可能に支持する上端案内部材と、この案
内部材を中心として回動する上記ニープロテクタ
本体の下端を、上記第一位置と第二位置との間で
案内すると共に第二位置に移動したときのニープ
ロテクタ本体を該位置に固定する固定部を有する
下端案内部材と、上記ニープロテクタ本体に対し
てこれを上記第一位置から第二位置に移動させる
向きに付勢する付勢手段と、上記ニープロテクタ
本体を、その習性に抗して上記第一位置に係止す
る係止部材と、車体に所定値以上の衝撃が係つた
とき作動し、上記係止部材の係止作用を解除して
、上記ニープロテクタ本体の移動を許す解除手段
