この発明は、自動車のトップシーリングやドアートリム
等の車室構成部材の表面に貼る内装材に関するものであ

自動車内部を美しく化粧するためにトップシーリングや
ドアートリムその他の車室構成部材の表面に内装材が貼
られるが、従来の内装材は安価なものにはビニールシー
トが用いられ、やや高級なものにビニールシートに植毛
したものが用いられ、さらに高級なものには美しい布が

上記した従来の内装材で、ビニールシートは硬く冷たい
感じがあり、ビニールシートに植毛したものはビニール
シート自体が布のような柔軟性に乏しいため硬ばった感
じが残り、布を使１Ｈするとコストアップとなるといっ
たような問題点があった０
自動車の内装は居住性を重視する傾向から競って高級化
の方向にあるが、一方でコストダウンが至上命令として
課せられており、この相反する条件を満たすことは容易
でないが、この発明はこうした条件をある程度満足させ
て、上記した問題点を解消し、比較的コスト安で高級な
感じを持った自動車用内装材を提供することを目的とす

上記のように構成したこの発明の自動車用内装材は、柔
軟で伸縮性に富んだトリフットハーフに植毛し、また裏
面に発泡体を貼ったものであるため、ソフトな感触を持
ち高級な感じを持つとともに、柔軟で伸縮性があるため
、基材の曲面や凹凸に沿い易く美しい仕上りが得られる
