号などによつて知られているように、瓶口に嵌着
し得る合成樹脂製の栓体上部天蓋からフランジ部
にかけてと、瓶口外周に被嵌して封緘の役目をは
たす冠封蓋胴部とが、丁度栓体につらなるフラン
ジ部外周に設けた凹溝に沿つて金属冠封蓋を分断
して、その両方の分断端縁を曲げ込んで一体的に
形成しておき、瓶に対し被嵌封緘して取付けてお
いたものを、消費者が開封するときには、従来の
封緘蓋のように冠封蓋の胴部切線に沿つて開封す
ると天蓋側だけ栓体外面を金属板で覆つた状態に
なつて残り、胴部の金属板部分が取り除かれるよ
うに計画上はなされているも、実用上においては
本来一体に形成した冠封蓋を合成樹脂製栓体に嵌
め合せた後分断して、その分断縁を溝部に曲げ込
むような工作を行つて得られる関係上、天蓋とな
る部分と開封時取り除かれる胴部とが確実に分離
し難く、開封の際天蓋部分も浮き上つて外脱した
り、或いは一旦分離して栓体の天蓋として取付い
ていたものが栓を瓶口に対して着脱している間に
周囲から緩んで外れてしまうというような事態も
生じ、従つてときには浮き出した天蓋側の切端で
指先を傷つけるような危険性を有する。そこでこ
のような問題点を解消しようとすると、先づ天蓋
となる部分と封緘の役目をなす胴部とを完全に分
離して栓体フランジ部に設けた溝に分断縁を曲げ
込んでおくことが必要であるが、このように形成
しておいても、所詮在来のアルミニウム製封緘蓋
の場合に比べて別個の中栓を用いることなく一体
化しただけで開封時取り口の摘持片は金属板であ
るから、その縁で指先を傷めることについては全
く解決されず不具合である。また、封緘蓋の確実
な封緘固定ができて、開封のための種種な切線形
成のために生じる欠点、即ち開封に要する力が大
きくなることで切断部で生じる切線また切開孔の
先端に鋭い切先が外向きに生じて指腹に触れて傷
つける危険性があるのを解消する目的で、開封容

が破損したりすることなく、確実な封緘とその維
持ができるのである。
