Abstract

PURPOSE:To always use a telephone in an appropriate sound volume by a user regardless peripheral sound, by providing a means which detects the peripheral sound, adjusts the sound volume of a receiver according to the sound volume automatically, and furthermore, adjusts the sound volume of a transmitter according to the sound volume of the receiver automatically. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral sound is detected by an outside sound sensor 1, and the sound volume of the receiver is found by a microcomputer 2 according to a peripheral sound volume, and it is amplified to the sound volume by an amplifier 3, then being outputted to a receiver 4. Meanwhile, the amplification factor of a transmitter 6 corresponding to the peripheral sound volume is found independently by the microcomputer 2, and the sound volume is amplified to the amplification factor by a transmission amplifier 5, and it is put on a channel through a channel converter 7.
