、往復動自在に内装されて流路５を開閉自在なゲ
ート１４と、該ゲート１４に同行して往復動する
ように一端が連結されているステム１６と、該ス
テム１６他端に相対回転不能かつ軸方向移動不能
に連結されると共に、軸方向がゲート往復方向に
沿う雄ねじ体２３と、該雄ねじ体２３に螺合され
る雌ねじ体２９と、その回転操作によつて雌ねじ
体２９を回転させて雄ねじ体２３とステム１６を
介してゲート１４を往復動させる操作体３６とを
備えたゲートバルブ１において、雄ねじ体２３が
ステム１６に相対回転不能かつ軸方向移動自在に
嵌合され、雄ねじ体２３とステム１６とに係合し
て両者１６，２３からの軸方向せん断力を支持す
る規制体２７により、両者１６，２３の相対的な
軸方向移動が規制されていることを特徴とするゲ
