(Means for Solving the Problems) As shown in FIG. A contact material 2' is made, and a U-shaped holding part 6 with three sides bent inward is formed at the center of one end of the spring terminal material 3 as shown in FIG. A cut and raised projection 7 is formed on the side, and then the clad contact material 2' is inserted into the holding portion 6 of the spring terminal material 3 from its open side as shown in FIG. This is characterized in that the electrical contact 5' is obtained by caulking at step 7 to prevent it from coming off.

As described above, in the method for manufacturing an electrical contact of the present invention, the clad contact material 2' having a longitudinal cross section of an hourglass shape is simply inserted into the U-shaped holding portion 6 bent inside the spring terminal material 3, and the holding portion The clad contact material 2' is caulked and prevented from coming off by securing the tip of the cut-and-raised projection 7, and the cut-and-raised projection 7 is not deformed. The caulking strength of the contact material 2' is high.

As shown in Figure 1a, the width is 1.6. A clad contact strip 1 having a height l, a weight of 5 m, a contact strip 1a made of 012 wt% Ag-Cd, and a base strip 1b made of Cu, and having an hourglass-shaped cross section narrowed only on the base strip 1b side. ' is cut to a length of 1.6 mm to make a planar square clad contact material 2', while a spring terminal material 3 made of phosphor bronze with a width of 3 mm and a length of 10 mm is made as shown in Figure 1. 'Inner width 1.65 with three sides bent at a 45 degree angle in the center of one end.
11. A U-shaped holding part 6 with an inner length of 1.65 mm and an inner height of 0.5 mm is formed, and at the center of the open side of the holding part 6, a height of 0.5 fl and a width of 1.21 m is formed. , length 1.
5. Form a slanted cut protrusion, and then insert the clad contact material 2'' into the holding portion 6 of the spring terminal material 3 from its open side as shown in Fig. 1C. The raised protrusion 7 was caulked to prevent it from coming off, and an electric contact 5' was obtained.

However, a twisting test was conducted to measure the caulking strength of the 100 clad contact materials 2 of each of the 100 electrical contacts of the example and the conventional example, and the opening and closing of the electrical contacts as movable contacts was performed until the clad contact material 2 loosened. When the number of times was measured, the results shown in the table below were obtained.

As is clear from the table above, the caulking strength of the kraft contact material of the electrical contact of the example is significantly higher (and stable with less variation) than that of the conventional electrical contact. It can be seen that the number of times of opening and closing of the electrical contact of this example until the crut contact material loosens is significantly greater than that of the conventional electrical contact.

(Effects of the Invention) As can be seen from the above explanation, according to the method of manufacturing an electric contact of the present invention, the crimping strength of the clad contact material is large, the number of openings and closings before the clad contact material loosens is large, and the clad contact material can be used for a long period of time. This has the excellent effect of making it possible to obtain an electrical contact with high durability.
