うに内筒の底部に逆止弁構造を備えたボトムピー
スを嵌合するのを一般とする。従つて押行程時の
内筒内圧力は数十気圧になるため内筒内の油圧に
より内筒が半径方向に押し拡げられる力を受け、
長時間の使用や異常に高い内圧が加わつた場合に
内筒とボトムピースとの圧入部が緩み、最悪の場
合にはこの箇所から油が漏れ、かくて押行程にお
ける減衰力の乱れとなつて表われ当初の緩衝機能
を維持できなくなる不具合をもたらす。

組付時に内筒先端がボトムピースの段差部6bの
上面に確実に当接しているかどうかを目視するこ
とができるので組付の誤差を少なくすることがで
きる。
