Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、グラビア印刷機の弯曲凹型刻印ロー
ル用ドクターに関するものである。

周知のように、グラビア印刷機においては刻印
の版表面にインクを塗布した後、余分のインクを
掻取るためのドクターを必要とする。一般にこの
ドクターのかけかたとしては、第1図に示す刻
印ロールの回転方向に順ずる向きにドクターをか
ける順ドクター方式と第1図に示す刻印ロール
の回転方向に抗してドクターをかける逆ドクター
方式とがある。同図において3は刻印ロールであ
り、4はインク掻取具であるドクターである。こ
れは主にインクの性状に応じて使い分けされるも
のであり、例えば比較的に遅乾性のインクを使用
する場合においては掻取り時、まだインクの流動
性が残つているので掻取りが容易であるから、順
ドクター方式を用い、速乾性インクを使用する場
合においては、掻取り時、既に乾燥が始まつてい
るので逆ドクター方式を用いなければならない。
この逆ドクター方式の場合には、ドクター先端部
の刻印ロール版面との接触抵抗が大きいものとな
ることから、先端部の消耗が激しいものである。
ドクターは刻印ロールの版面に対して均一に、か
つ均一な圧力をもつてかからなければ、インクの
掻取りに斑ができ、印刷精度に悪影響を及ぼす。
従つてドクター先端部の消耗が激しい逆ドクター
方式の場合には、適宜調整、ドクターの交換等の
作業を必要とする。

比較的容易であり、掻取り斑も生じにくいもので
ある。(例えば特公昭52−45242号公報図面の符号
9および11参照)しかしながら弯曲凹型刻印ロ
ールに対するインクの掻取りは、凹面に対してお
こなわなければならないので、先端の係合部が凸
曲している平板状ドクターでは版面に対する各接
触点において均質圧を維持することが困難であ
り、インクの掻取り斑も発生し易いものであつ
た。
