容するケージにセツトせる小動物用粉末給餌器に
関するものである。

育するケージにあつて、薬剤調合及び特定成分の

り餌を食べるものであるが、このタイプでは給餌
口上に動物が乗込んだりするため、糞、尿又は床
敷材等の搬入がまぬがれず、飼料を汚し易い。こ
のため、近時は下方を漏斗状構造とした筐体型給
餌器を用い、下端に配す給餌口より順次飼料を供
給するタイプへと変遷している。しかし、この筐
体型給餌器は単にケージ本体に取付ける固定タイ
プであり、飼料の出すぎととか詰まり等が問題
で、各種手段の改良がなされているが、いまだ十
分なものがない。特に、飼料が粉末に多少の水分
(薬液も含む)を与えたソボロ状粉末にあつて
は、目詰まり現象があとをたたない。

給餌器全体を揺らし飼料の流出を円滑としたもの

設する。この支持片7,7の形成は、側壁6面を
ポンチ打出しとした凸起構成でも、貫通の横棒
(図示せず)を配し、この両突出端を支持片とし
てもよい。要は、ケージ本体8の天蓋部8aに設
けたセツト口縁8bに左右の支持片7,7が掛
り、給餌器本体1が揺動自在に吊下がればよいも
のである。

る。この点からも前記振動と相俟つて円滑流出を
招く。勿論、マウス等の極小動物にあつては、流
出口部に横桟(規制横棒)を介在すれば、槽内へ
の侵入がない。又、この給餌口部は狭幅と本体自
体の揺動と相俟つて乗込みも出来ず、飼料を汚す
こともない等の実用的効果を奏する。
