Abstract

PURPOSE:To perfectly unbind a sheet-shaped article in its conveyance process, by lifting the sheet-shaped article of book leaf or the like, which is carried in a vertically placed condition, by a lift device to be held one by one between belts through the friction with the endless belt and feeding the sheet-shaped article to a predetermined position. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-shaped article A is placed on a feed-in conveyer 1, and the article A, which comes into contact with a belt surface of a lift device 10 successively from the top end article rising to a certain distance through the friction with a belt, is lifted onto the top part of the lift device 10 as shown in the drawing. The sheet-shaped article A on the top part of the lift device 10 is held by a holding device 11 and pressed to a surface of the endless belt 3 by a suitable pressure. The sheet-shaped article A on the top part of the lift device 10 is preferable to be separated by a blow of air from an air nozzle or a vibrative load through the holding device 11. And the sheet-shaped article A, if it rises to a certain distance being attracted one by one to the surface of the belt 3 by a vacuum device 4, reaches a predetermined position 2 being held between the belt 3 and an endless belt 5.

(Prior art) For example, in bookbinding, the signatures are stacked in a series of corresponding pockets, and the signatures are taken out one by one from the bottom edge of each pocket to collect one book and then bound. . Therefore, each pocket must always store an appropriate amount of signatures in an unraveled state, and therefore, during the supply process, the signatures are unraveled one by one. In addition,
It is desirable to loosen the pieces one by one during the feeding process also when feeding other 7-1.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In such a conventional device, if the pressure applied by the subsequent sheet-like objects is moderate, the first endless belt (3) can lift the sheets one by one. However, if the pressing force is strong, there is a problem in that a plurality of sheet-like objects are simultaneously lifted and sandwiched between a pair of endless belts, and therefore cannot be completely unraveled in the process.

(Means for Solving the Problems) A feature of the sheet-like material supply device according to the present invention is that a pair of endless conveyors are provided between a feed conveyor on which a large number of sheet-like products are placed and a predetermined position where the sheet-like materials are to be fed. Bell) as well as
Furthermore, it includes a lifting device that touches the surface of the most advanced sheet material on the feeding conveyor, lifts it to a certain extent and transfers it to the endless belt, and a device that holds the sheet material on the top of the lifting device. Preferably, the feed conveyor is configured to be able to move vertically in parallel so that it can accommodate sheet-like objects having a wide range of vertical dimensions. Further, if desired, a circular rotating member is provided which contacts the sides of the sheet for separating and pushing the sheet at the front of the infeed conveyor.

(Effect of the said means) The sheet on the infeed conveyor is lifted onto its top by a lifting device, and in the process, depending on the pressure with which the sheet is pressed by the following sheet, a plurality of sheets may be They may also be lifted at the same time. At the top of the lifting device one or more sheet-like objects are held by a holding device. In order to press the sheet material with a moderate pressure against the IC (endless bell), the sheet material is lifted one by one by friction with the belt surface or by vacuum, and is fed between the belts and sent to a predetermined position.

During operation, the sheet-like objects (A) placed upright on the feeding conveyor (1) come into contact with the belt surface of the lifting device (10) in order from the most advanced one, and due to friction therewith,
By raising the height 6 to a certain extent, for example, the length of one side of the sheet material or less, as shown in FIG.
, 01 is lifted onto the top. The sheet material on the top of the lifting device (1) is held by the holding device (11) VC and pressed against the surface of the first endless belt (3) with appropriate pressure. The sheet on the top is preferably separated by air blowing by an air nozzle t12)K or by vibrational loading via a holding device (ID and lifting device dO). are pressed against the surface of the first endless belt (3) by the holding device (11) with moderate pressure, so they are attracted to the surface of the belt (3) one by one by the vacuum suction device (4) and lifted to a certain extent. Then, it is held between the upper endless belt (5) and reaches a predetermined position (2).

The sheet material placed on the feed conveyor (1) is almost vertical.
Alternatively, the sheet-like material is erected diagonally and is gradually fed toward the lifting device (10), and when it reaches near the tip of the conveyor (1), the rotating swings 05) on both sides cause the edges of the sheet-like material to come into contact with each other. It is received, separated from its neighbors, and pushed toward the tip. The 13 circular members may be gears, discs with a corrugated or grooved outer circumferential surface, friction wheels, or any other material that can play almost the same role as the brush.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, the sheet-like object that has been lifted to a certain extent and pressed against the belt surface with appropriate pressure is lifted by friction or adsorption, so that the sheet-like object can be moved up at once. It can be fed one by one, and it can be conveyed by being held between the bell and the belt. Therefore, it can be completely loosened during the process of transporting it to a predetermined position.
