BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, sanitary napkins generally used in practical use are vertically long and flat, and have a substantially uniform thickness over the entire area. A napkin having such a shape is usually worn with its central region located at the site where the vaginal opening is located, one end region located on the abdominal side, and the other end region located on the buttocks side. However, since the entire area of the napkin, especially the central area, is flat, it is not possible to fit the central area of the napkin into close contact with the vaginal opening and the labia cleft on both sides. It causes menstrual blood leakage.

このため、いまだ実用に供されてはいないが、

For this reason, it has not yet been put into practical use, but
Various types of napkins have been proposed in which a protrusion is provided in the central region. However, these known proposals simply protrude the central region of the napkin without carefully considering the human body structure of the groin area, including the genitals, resulting in poor adhesion. On the contrary, the protruding portion gives the wearer an unpleasant feeling of pressure and a foreign body sensation, and is not suitable for mass production and is extremely impractical.

In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present inventors
As a result of various studies from the perspective of human anatomy, we have developed a sanitary napkin that fits tightly to the groin area including the genitals, does not shift when worn, and has excellent functions such as preventing menstrual blood leakage. was successfully developed.

The napkin 1 is composed of a non-absorbent part 2 and an absorbent part 3 which protrudes upward using the non-absorbent part 2 as a bottom surface. The non-absorbent portion 2 is flat and has one longitudinal end portion 4.
The absorption part 3 is formed into a vertically elongated trapezoid so that it is widest and gradually narrows from there to the other end 5 in the same direction. Moreover, the absorption part 3 has an arcuate longitudinal and cross section, and is biased towards one end 4. More specifically, it has the highest portion 6 near the one end 4 side and above the line (X 2 -X 2 in FIG. 1) that roughly divides the length of the napkin 1 into thirds, and has a so that it becomes gradually lower (thinner) in each direction of one end 4 and the other end 5,
It is formed in a so-called "F" shape or in the shape of a mountain whose top is biased to one side. Further, a thin and narrow flap 7 is formed on the outer peripheral edge where the non-absorbent part 2 and the absorbent part 3 are in contact.

For the napkin 1 having such a configuration, it is important to select the size in order to fully exhibit the intended effect of the present invention, but this size includes the width of the selvedge 7. It is sufficient if the length L is 170 to 220 mm, the width W 1 of one end 4 is 50 to 80 mm, the width W 2 of the other end 5 is 40 to 60 mm, and the height H of the highest part is 15 to 30 mm. . The numerical range of L, W 1 and W 2 is large enough to cover the vagina and labia majora, and
W 1 is the width of the groin area on the abdominal side, and W 2 is the width that does not cause strong pressure on the groin area on the buttocks side. In addition, the numerical value range of H is a preferable height for fitting and adhering to the vaginal opening, and if the height H is less than 15 mm, it will not fit and adhering sufficiently to the vaginal opening, and the height H will be 30 mm or less.
If it is more than mm, it is not preferable because it presses the vaginal opening too strongly and gives the wearer a feeling of a foreign body. Note that the width of the ear piece 7 may be 5 to 15 mm.

Furthermore, in the napkin 1 having such a configuration, the core part 3a of the absorbent part 3 is made of a water-absorbing material, the top layer 3b is made of a water-permeable material, and the non-absorbent part 2, which is the bottom layer, is made of a water-permeable material and/or a non-water-permeable material. The water-absorbing material for the core 3a is pulverized (cotton-like).
Materials made of pulp, crepe absorbent paper, water-insoluble/water-absorbing swellable polymers, etc. alone or in combination;
The water permeable material for the top layer 3b and the non-absorbent portion 2, which is the bottom layer, may be made of hydrophilic fibers such as cotton or rayon, or hydrophobic fibers such as polypropylene or acrylic, alone or in combination, and the non-absorbent portion 2, which is the bottom layer. As the water-impermeable material, waterproof paper, synthetic resin film, etc. are preferably used. Note that an odor-absorbing substance such as activated carbon may be interposed in a suitable part of the napkin 1, and an adhesive fixing part for wearing panties may be provided in a suitable part of the non-absorbent part 2, if necessary. Reference numeral 8 in FIGS. 1, 5, and 6 indicates compressed grooves formed on the upper surface of the absorbent portion 3 in a mesh or vertical striped pattern by embossing.

The present invention has the above-described configuration, and when wearing the napkin 1, one wide end 4 is placed on the abdomen side, the highest part 6 of the absorbent part 3 is placed on the vaginal opening, and the width is The other narrow end portions 5 are positioned on the buttocks side, and the entire surface of the absorbent portion 3 is brought into pressure contact with the wearer's panties or a sanitary belt.

Therefore, when the napkin 1 is worn, the highest (thickest) and sufficiently absorbent part 6 of the absorbent part 3 is at the vaginal opening, and the front and rear regions of that part are in the shadow. It will fit tightly into the crack.
Therefore, while wearing the napkin 1, menstrual blood does not leak or the napkin 1 does not shift from the normal wearing area.
Furthermore, since the absorbent portion 3 is formed to have a gently curved surface as a whole, it does not give the wearer an unpleasant feeling of pressure or a feeling of being a foreign body. By the way, for example, as with the napkins previously proposed, a protrusion may be simply provided in the center of the absorbent surface, a protrusion shaped to be held between the labia majora may be provided in the center of the absorbent surface, or the front part of the protrusion may be A napkin whose entire shape is uniformly formed without any change in shape or curvature has the disadvantage of poor fitting and adhesion, giving the wearer an unpleasant feeling of pressure or foreign body sensation.

Furthermore, when the napkin 1 is worn, the other end 5 region located on the buttocks side is formed to be thin and narrow, so that the other end 5 comes into close contact with the groove of the buttocks without overlapping too much. Therefore, even when wearing slacks, tight skirts, etc. that are close to the body, the other end regions 5 do not cause unsightly protuberances that are visible from the outside of the garment.

Such excellent effects of the present invention can only be obtained by the above-mentioned novel and unique shape of the napkin, which was devised based on the results of various studies from the viewpoint of human anatomy. In addition, the napkin has excellent functionality, has extremely high commercial value, and has an ideal shape.
