This is achieved by applying a gentle pressure to the filter and pushing the end face of the filter with a fuel pipe to ensure fixing strength when the fuel injection valve is installed in an internal combustion engine.

Fuel injection is performed by opening and closing the seat portion 9, and the ON-OFF signal is given as a pulse to the coil 3 via the connector 2. When a current is passed through the coil 3, the core 4. The yoke5. A magnetic circuit is formed by the plunger 6, and the plunger 6 is attracted upward in the drawing. The plunger 6 is coupled to the needle 8 which is slidably provided inside the valve guide 7, and the seat portion 9 opens when the plunger 6 is moved by suction force.

The figure shows a conventional filter fixing method, and shows the fuel flow path formed at the end of the core 4]1. The body 19 of the filter 13 is fixed by being press-fitted therein. FIG. 3 shows an embodiment of the present invention. The core 4 is provided with a filter fixing portion 16 further upstream of the fuel flow path 11 formed at the end of the core 4, and a filter fixing portion 16 is provided between the filter fixing portion 16 and the fuel flow path. The intervening stepped portion is provided with I#17 on the circumference to prevent paris from being mixed in. When the filter 20 is installed, the filter body 21 and the filter fixing part 16 are separated from each other more than before.
It is a gentle press-fit with a small press-fit allowance, and foreign matter is generated inside the core 4 during installation.

Foreign matter such as particles generated due to gentle press-fitting is surrounded by the space formed by the circumferential groove for preventing intrusion of particles 17 and the filter body 21, and the filter body 21 and the stepped portion of the core 4 are in contact with each other. Therefore, it does not mix into the fuel flow path 11. Furthermore, the filter 20 is prevented from being removed due to actual vehicle vibration and fuel/atmosphere temperature alternation.
