Description

【発明の詳細な説明】[Detailed description of the invention]

本発明は、リス型ストリツピングフイルム(銀
塩ゼラチン感光材料)を用い、該リス型ストリツ
ピングフイルム上に中間調画像を形成する方法に
関するものである。 グラビア写真製版等の写真製版における色文
字、色帯等の中間調(半調)画像の訂正におい
て、中間調(半調)画像を容易に形成可能なスト
リツピングフイルムの需要が大きい。しかし、ス
トリツピングフイルムはリス型のものしか入手で
きないため、色文字、色帯等の中間調(半調)画
像の訂正には露光用ネガを再度作り直し、連続調
フイルムに再露光することが必要となる。このた
め、色文字、色帯等の中間調画像の訂正に伴なう
作業のロス、材料のロスが非常に大きくなるとい
う不都合が生じていた。 本発明は、以上のような事情に鑑み成されたも
のであり、リス型ストリツピングフイルム(銀塩
ゼラチン感光材料)に対し、露光、現像、反転現
像、定着等を行ない、ゼラチン層より成る画像部
を該リス型ストリツピングフイルム上に形成した
後、所望の感光材の感光波長域に対して遮光性を
有する染料を用いて該ゼラチン層より成る画像部
に染色を施すことにより、中間画像を形成するこ
とを特徴とするリス型ストリツピングフイルム上
に中間調画像を形成する方法である。 以下本発明を図面を参照に詳細に説明する。第
1図はリス型ストリツピングフイルムの一般的な
構成を示す断面図であり、乳剤層1、永久支持体
2、剥離層3、仮支持体4及び裏引層5から構成
されている。リス型の感光乳剤は、高濃度とカブ
リの少ない素抜け部を作るように設計されたもの
で、文字やカツトのような白と黒の2階調だけの
複製が仕易いような特性をもつている。そして、
画線にフリンジが生じにくく、解像力に優れてい
る反面、超コントラストのガンマ値を有するた
め、中間濃度の記録は階調を成さないという特性
も持つている。 以上のような特性を有するリス型ストリツピン
グフイルム7上に第2図イの如くポジ原稿6を配
置し、露光装置の光源からの光をポジ原稿6を通
して照射し、リス型ストリツピングフイルム7に
必要な露光を施す。リス型ストリツピングフイル
ム7の乳剤層1の露光部分には潜像8が形成され
る。次に潜像8が形成されたリス型ストリツピン
グフイルム7に対し、現像、停止、反転現像及び
剥膜処理を従来一般的に行なわれている方法で順
次施す。現像と剥膜処理後のリス型ストリツピン
グフイルムは、それぞれ第2図のロとハで示され
る。9はネガテイブ銀画像部(黒化銀11+ゼラ
チン)、10はポジテイブ銀画像部(ハロゲン化
銀12+ゼラチン)をそれぞれ示している。ここ
でいう反転現像とはポジテイブ銀画像部10を形
成するための現像処理を意味し、通常に行なわれ
ているような漂白(脱銀)後の第2露光工程及び
第2現像工程を含まないものとする。従つて、反
転現像後に形成されるポジテイブ銀画像部10中
にはハロゲン化銀12が存在している。次に前記
工程でポジテイブ銀画像部10を形成したリス型
ストリツピングフイルムを水洗処理して、軟化さ
せたネガテイブ銀画像部9を取り除いた後、定着
処理をし、ポジテイブ銀画像部10中のハロゲン
化銀12を折出させ、ゼラチン層よりなる画像部
13をリス型ストリツピングフイルム上に形成す
る。この様子を示すのが第2図のニである。ゼラ
チン層よりなる画像部13の形成されたリス型ス
トリツピングフイルムは、次に染色処理を施す。
この染色処理に用いられる染料は、所望の遮光性
を有し、ゼラチン層より成る画像部13のみを染
色する必要があり、リス型ストリツピングフイル
ム7のニトロセルロース等より成る永久支持体2
を染色してはならない。従つて、ここでは
Safranine AやChrysoidine 3R等の染料を使用
し、染色を行なえばよいということが知られてい
る。このような染料を濃度を違えて多種用意し、
ゼラチン層よりなる画像部13のみを染色するこ
とにより、リス型ストリツピングフイルム上に所
望の中間濃度を有する中間調画像14を形成す
る。第2図のホに示すのが以上のようにして得ら
れた中間調画像14を有するリス型ストリツピン
グフイルムである。こうして得られた、中間調画
像14を有するリス型ストリツピングフイルム
は、必要な部分の周辺に刀を入れ、一端を捲つ
て、剥離層3の部分から膜はがしを行ない、割り
付け指定紙に従つて中間調画像を編集し、製版用
写真原板を構成してはりこみやはめこみ等を行な
う。 本発明によれば、中間調画像の再生が極めてむ
ずかしいリス型ストリツピングフイルムを使用し
ても、中間調画像が容易に形成可能になる。従つ
て、写真製版工程中に製版用写真原板中の中間調
画像に訂正の必要が生じた際、リス型ストリツピ
ングフイルムの使用により、訂正すべき中間調画
像の部分修正が容易に行なえるようになり、部分
修正工程の簡略化及び製版材料の節減化が促進さ
れるようになる。 また、本発明によれば様々な色相の中間調画像
を有するリス型ストリツピングフイルムを提供す
ることができるので、デユープ組立の際、色帯の
部分に代用することもできるようになる。 以下本発明の一実施例を示す。 <実施例> 小西六写真工業(株)社製リス型ストリツピングフ
イルム(OLS―140A)とポジ原稿を密着させ、
フラツトプリンタにて10秒間の露光を施した。次
に富士写真フイルム社製の現像液(LD―322)で
現像(20℃、3分)をし、露光部にネガテイブ銀
画像部9を形成した。次にネガテイブ銀画像部9
を形成したリス型ストリツピングフイルムを停止
液中に15秒間浸漬し、現像の進行を一時停止させ
た後、下記処方の反転現像剥膜液を使用して反転
現像及び剥膜処理を行なつた。
