[Detailed description of the invention] This invention is installed outdoors and requires both high airtightness for weather resistance and electromagnetic shielding to suppress unnecessary radiation of electromagnetic waves.
The present invention relates to a housing of an electronic device having an opening/closing part for adjustment, etc.

In order to achieve this, the conventional method is to use metal as the material for the housing, and at the opening/closing part, the end surfaces of the opposing housing parts 1 and 2 as shown in FIG. A gasket 3 is sandwiched in between to provide airtightness, and a flexible conductor 4 such as a braided metal wire is sandwiched inside to ensure conduction between both end faces to provide electromagnetic shielding properties. I found a way to do it. However, this method requires two types of inclusions, namely the gasket 3 and the conductor 4, which increases the cost, and in order to stably attach these to the housing, at least two inclusions are required on one of the end faces. It is necessary to provide the grooves 5 and 6, and the machining of the housing becomes complicated.

さらに簡便な方法としては、第2図に示す如

A more convenient method, as shown in FIG. 2, is to use a gasket 7 made of a conductive elastic material to provide airtightness and conductivity at the same time.
However, in this method, the end surface of the portion that contacts the conductive gasket 7 needs to be a conductive metal surface. Therefore, since it is not possible to apply a coating to prevent corrosion due to outside air or rainwater, the method has the disadvantage that it is inferior to the method shown in FIG. 1 in terms of long-term performance stability.

This idea was made in view of the above circumstances,
The purpose is to provide a housing for electronic equipment that can stably achieve both airtightness and electromagnetic shielding properties while using a single gasket.

A painted portion 14 that is continuous from the outer surface of the housing portion 12 is provided on the inner wall of the housing portion 12 . A gasket 15 made of a conductive elastic material is fitted into this groove 13. On the end surface 11a of the other housing part 11, a painted part 16 is provided that extends from the outer surface of the housing part 11 to a position corresponding to the painted part 14. Further, the portions of these two end surfaces 11a and 12a inside the groove 13 are not painted, and the metal portions are exposed.

FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the gasket 15.
This gasket 15 includes an airtight holding part 17 that is fitted into a groove 13 on the end surface of the housing portion 12, a conductive part 18 that extends in an edge shape from this holding part 17, and a conductive part 18 that extends on the opposite side of the conductive part 18. The pressure balance part 19 is integrally molded.

That is, the housing portion 11 and the housing portion 1 in FIG.
2 is closed, and the end face 11 is closed by bolts, clasps, etc.
When the gaskets a and 12a are fastened together, first, the airtight retaining portion 17 fitted in the groove 13 of the gasket 15 connects the coated portions 14 and 1 of both end surfaces 11a and 12a.
6 to ensure airtightness and waterproofness, and the edge-shaped conductive portion 18 is sandwiched between the unpainted end surfaces to provide conduction between the end surfaces 11a and 12a.

また、このガスケツト15の導通部18は、第

Furthermore, the conductive portion 18 of this gasket 15 has a wider contact area than the method shown in FIG.
In addition, since the thickness can be reduced, a lower resistance value can be obtained, and electromagnetic shielding properties can also be improved.

Note that the pressure balance part 19 of the gasket 15 is intended for pressure balance to prevent the airtight holding part 17 from being pushed outward and deformed when the conductive part 18 is compressed between the end surfaces 11a and 12a. It is.

Further, the airtight holding part 17 of the gasket 15 is formed on its upper surface to protrude slightly above the conduction part 18 and the pressure balance part 19, so that the pressure in that part is the highest, and the airtightness and waterproofness are improved. It is designed to be secured on painted surfaces.

As described above, this invention has a simple structure with one groove and one gasket, but since the airtight part and the conductive part are separated, stable characteristics can be obtained over a long period of time.
