この発明は比較的小規模の建物、例えば住宅等
の基礎に使用されるコンクリート製螺旋杭に関す

の結果によれば地質により土砂の排出量が多かつ

螺旋杭は円形断面の本体1と、その本体1の外周
に突設された螺旋状の翼片2からなる。しかもそ
の翼片2には所要間隔に平面で曲線状をなす凹状
部3が形成されて翼片2の外周辺は波状に屈曲し
て断続的であり、かつその凹状部3は本体1の長
さ方向に直線状位置に配置されている。そしてこ
の凹状部3においては翼片2に相当する部分が僅
か突出したものとする。そしてこの翼片2は平面
でみて三方向に突出した形状をなしている。さら
に凹状部3の側縁は切刃側4は他側より緩く傾斜
している。すなわち図示したように杭が矢印方向
に回転し、切刃側4が地盤に食い込むが、一例と
してその切刃側4の角度は径方向に60゜であるの
に対し、他側の角度は30゜とする。

ねじ込み抵抗が小さくねじ込みが連結した螺旋状
の翼片の場合より容易である。また連結した螺旋
状の翼片では土砂を地表面まで持上げるが、この
発明の翼片は断続的な波状をなしているので、土
砂を持上げることが少なく、その土砂を地盤中に
圧入することになり、地盤の強化にも役立つ。さ
らに翼片が破損する恐れがない。
