The present applicant has already discovered that in the folding structure of the supporting legs of a desk in Utility Model Application No. 50-85403, the folding fittings serving as the bracket bearings have a groove-like structure in which a pair of side pieces that sandwich a horizontal mounting member are connected by end pieces. A configuration has been disclosed in which a support leg attachment piece is horizontally suspended between the lower ends of the both side pieces at the tip of the main piece, and the support leg is fixed to the support leg attachment piece.

According to the above configuration, the support leg mounting piece consists of a bottom plate that covers the lower part of both sides from the middle part to the rear, the inner surface of which abuts the horizontal mounting member when the support leg is extended, and the back surface The supporting legs are fixed by welding, etc.

Therefore, with the above configuration, in order for the support leg mounting piece to always collide with the horizontal mounting member (top support frame) when unfolded, the position of the support leg mounting piece must be at a position where it collides with the horizontal mounting member without any gaps. needs to be set accurately, and if a molding error or the like occurs in each member, it is impossible to adjust the position of the support leg mounting piece that becomes the abutting surface.

This invention was made in view of the above circumstances, and its main objective was to form abutting surfaces that support the top plate support frame of the bracket bearing with a simple structure, to make the position of the abutting surfaces adjustable, and to make it possible to adjust the position of the abutting surfaces. To provide a folding table that facilitates the fixing of fixed pillars and increases the fixing force.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, this invention is designed to sandwich and pivot both longitudinal ends of the top plate support frame that supports the top plate between a pair of bracket pieces extending outward from a bracket bearing each having a channel-shaped cross section. At the same time, the pedestal is connected in a direction perpendicular to the bracket piece, and the pedestal is connected to the top support frame so that it can be folded or expanded, and when the pedestal is expanded, it collides with the lower surface of the top support frame. In a folding table in which the bracket bearing is provided with an abutting surface that straddles a bendable stay between the top support frame and the pillar, the bracket bearing is (a) orthogonal to the bracket piece; (b) Above the socket part, the both side walls of the bracket bearing are partially cut in the middle of the bracket bearing. A technical measure has been taken in which a folding claw piece is provided at the top end of the pillar.

As a result, the folding claw pieces can be adjusted and moved in the vertical direction, so the misalignment between the top plate support frame and the abutment surface that is the inner surface of the folding claw pieces due to molding errors can be adjusted, and the top plate support frame can be folded in without any gaps. It can be brought into contact with the claw piece.

Further, simply by fitting the pedestal into the socket portion of the bracket bearing, the pedestal is positioned and fixed in a state surrounded by the back surface of the folding pawl piece and the inner circumferential surface of the socket portion.

Such a bracket bearing 3 is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5.
As shown in more detail in the figure, it is comprised of a substantially horizontally L-shaped channel member having a socket portion 3C into which a pillar 4A or 4B is fitted and secured at a position orthogonal to the bracket piece portion 3B. That is, the bracket piece 3B consists of a pair of left and right protruding pieces that extend in the direction toward the center of the top support frames 2A, 2B when the pillars 4A, 4B are in the expanded and upright position. Then, make a substantially U-shaped notch in both side walls at a position corresponding to the thickness of the top plate support frames 2A, 2B at the part that intersects with the upper part of the socket part 3C, and fold the notched wall part inward to form the folding claw piece 3A. is formed.

In addition, the socket part 3C is made up of left and right sides and a back surface, and a folding claw piece 3A is protruded from the upper part, so that positioning for fixing can be performed simply by fitting the pedestal 4A or 4B. Both of these stay members 5A, 5B are each integrally formed with a rectangular groove cross-sectional shape from a steel plate, and when they are formed, the groove width of one of the stay members, that is, the lower stay member 5B in the case of the illustrated example, is the same as that of the upper stay member 5A. The groove width is set narrow. And both stay members 5
The mutually connected end sides of A and 5B are fitted in an overlapping state by an appropriate length, and in this fitted state, both side walls of the tip end of the lower stay member 5B are bent on both side walls of the upper stay member 5A with pins P2 such as rivets. They are freely connected.

Therefore, when the stay 5 is deployed, the stay 5 is diagonally extended, and the inner surface of the upper wall of the upper stay member 5A and the outer surface of the upper wall of the lower stay member 5B abut each other at their overlapped portions. This toggle spring 7 has both stay members 5A and 5B.
For the locking pieces 7A, 7B cut and raised toward the respective grooves, the pillars 4A, 4B and the top plate support frames 2A, 2B are connected to the pillars 4A, 4B and the top plate support frames 2A, 2B from the pin connection part P2 in the stay 5 when deployed. The frame is stretched so that the maximum tension is reached at a position that is biased towards the corner formed by the frame.

Therefore, the toggle spring 7 biases the stay 5 in the elongated and deployed direction when its spring axis passes over the pin connecting portion P2 toward the corner portion, and the toggle spring 7 biases the stay 5 in the expansion and deployment direction.

Eventually, the table will be used, but when the stay 5 is bent when the table is not in use, the toggle spring 7 acts in the direction of the bend, causing the pillars 4A, 4B to be attached to the top support frames 2A, 2B. It can be folded along the line with a light operation force.

As described above, according to the configuration of this invention, the bracket piece of the bracket bearing fixed to the upper end of the pedestal and extending laterally is pivotally supported by the top plate support frame, and the bracket part is attached to the top plate support frame when the pedestal is deployed. Since fold-in claw pieces are provided that abut against the top plate support frame, the fold-in claw pieces can hold the top plate support frame in surface contact when the top plate is used with the pedestal expanded. can.

For this reason, there is no possibility that the pedestals will wobble when the top plate is used, and the table can always be used with good stability.

In addition, as mentioned above, the rattling of the pillars can be eliminated by the pivot position of the pillars relative to the top plate support frame and the folding claw pieces, so the reinforcing crossbars between the pillars can be placed in an upper position close to the bracket bearings. Furthermore, the back surface of this folding pawl piece, together with the inner circumferential surface of the socket part, can regulate the upper and lateral (three sides) of the pedestal, and the positioning for fixing the pedestal to the bracket bearing.
