(1) When the net-like member related to this voicing is held by the sewing threads on the periphery of the sheet material and stretched in the width direction, each cut opens and the sheet material forms each side of the net. The part stands up so as to form an inclined surface with respect to the sewing thread. Each side of this upright net acts as a contact surface,
The suture supports the tensile load applied to this net-like member.

When this net-like member is used as a contact material, microorganisms adhere to the surface of each side of the net, and each side of the net swings according to the flow of wastewater, so the efficiency of contact with wastewater is high.
Even if the amount of attached microorganisms increases, the surface area hardly changes, so contact efficiency does not decrease.

This net-like member (4) has a tensile strength of about 20 because the sewing thread f21 is composed of two No. 3 nylon filament sewing threads. It has sufficient tensile strength even when used as a contact material, and like conventional contact materials, it can be used as a filter floor by stacking multiple sheets on a wooden frame.
It can be used as a contact material without clogging or reducing contact efficiency.

b) each have a width spacing of 2W, and (6a
) and (6b) are 12 diamond-shaped squares arranged at vertical intervals of the length l in the vertical direction, and the sheet material (1) with a width of 2W in the direction of one arrow C and the opposite direction is arrow B. Each sewing machine (6a) is oscillated in synchronization with the speed fed in the direction.
In step (6b), a triangular wave pattern seam having a width of 2W is formed to form an intersecting portion (2a). In this case, since the sewing machine (6b) is disposed at a distance l from the sewing machine (6a), the sewing machine base (5) forms a diamond-shaped square simply by performing the same rocking motion. (7) is a slitter base, with a width interval W and a vertical direction t! Slitters (8a) and (sb) are arranged at a distance of /2, and the slitters (8a) and (sb) are placed at a distance of move downwards and form cuts (3) in a staggered arrangement pattern in the vertical direction between the intersection parts (2a) and (2a) of the diamond-shaped squares. In this way, the sewing machine base (5) is swung by 2 widths in the direction of arrow C in synchronization with feeding the sheet material (1) in the direction of arrow B, and sewing is carried out with the sewing machines (6a) and (6b). At the same time, the net-like member (4) can be manufactured through a series of steps in which cuts are formed using the slitters (8a) and (sb).

In addition, in the above example, an example was shown in which a nonwoven fabric was used as the sheet material (1), but a woven fabric, a synthetic resin film material, or a sheet material in which many small diameter holes are formed in these may also be used. Furthermore, it may be one in which a synthetic resin foam sheet material is laminated on at least one side, or a foam polyurethane sheet material itself.

In addition, although we have shown an example in which nylon filament sewing thread is used as the sewing thread (2), any sewing thread that provides the necessary tensile strength may be used, and the sewing method can include lock stitching, chain stitching, double stitching, etc. Needless to say, any stitching method that provides high tensile strength, such as chain stitching, will suffice.

Furthermore, in the example described above, an example of use as a contact material was explained, but in terms of earthworks, etc., it can also be used as an earth retaining material by laying it on a slope. It can also be used for fish reefs (for spawning), and is easy to handle.
It can be used for a long period of time and has suitable functions in terms of functions required for each purpose.

(1) The net-like member according to the present invention is formed by sewing a sheet material with sewing thread so as to form squares, and at the same time, the cuts made diagonally inside each square are arranged in a zigzag pattern. Therefore, when the cut is extended in the direction in which it is opened, it becomes a net shape with sides that are inclined to the sewing thread, so when used as a contact material for filter beds, high contact efficiency can be obtained, and it can be used for a long time. Also, there are effects such as less decrease in contact efficiency.

(2) The method for manufacturing a net-like member according to the present invention includes a step of sewing to form a continuous stitch using a plurality of sewing machines disposed at predetermined positions, and a step of sewing the inside of each square. Since this is a method of manufacturing a net-like member by performing the step of forming cuts in the feeding direction (vertical direction) of the sheet material as a series of operations, it is effective in manufacturing with high productivity.
