り送出された製氷水を循環ホース24で、散水装置4a
へ案内する。散水装置4aへ案内された製氷水は蒸発器
4に流出させられ、貯水タンク6に回収される。製氷部
材5に氷が生成されるにつれ貯水タンク6内の水位が低
下し、所定氷厚にセットされている下位レベル水位19
に達すると下位水位検出装置2oにより検出され、製氷
サイクルを停止させ離氷サイクルに切換る。離水サイク
ルでは電磁弁21の切換わりによりホットガスが蒸発器
4に流れ製氷部材5に生成した板氷を離氷すると共に、
給水弁14により製氷水が貯水タンク6に供給される製
氷水は貯水タンク6の上位水位17に達すると上位水位
検出検出装置18にて検出されオーバーフロータイマ2
8が動作し、製氷水は一定量オーバーフローされた後供
給が停止される。このとき貯水タンク6内水位は排水パ
イプ16により一定水位となっている。この一定水位が
