Low-pressure continuous suction devices are often used after thoracotomy to drain fluid while maintaining a constant internal pressure. A pressure regulating bottle is used to maintain a constant pressure. In this case, the pressure is set at the height of the water column pressure, so if you try to set the maximum value of the set pressure high in order to widen the application range, the overall height of the device tends to become too tall, making it difficult to handle and carry. This is inconvenient, and is a fatal drawback, especially in the case of disposable products, which are often used these days.

In view of these current problems, the present invention has been developed to provide a system that allows the suction pressure to be set and regulated from very low to relatively high pressure without sacrificing the features of conventional low-pressure suction systems, and that is easy to handle and compact. The purpose of this invention is to provide a medical low-pressure suction device equipped with a simple pressure regulator.

That is, the present invention is composed of a pressure regulating section formed of a plurality of hollow chambers, and a liquid collection section consisting of one or more hollow chambers. The chamber has an exhaust port for discharging gas, a thin tube for introducing air from the second chamber, and one or more connection ports or communication ports for connecting with the liquid collecting section. The second and subsequent chambers of the pressure part valve cylinder have a connection port for connecting to the previous chamber and a thin tube for introducing air from the atmosphere or the next chamber,
Further, the medical suction and drainage device is characterized in that the liquid collecting portions are respectively a drainage chamber and a water seal chamber.

以下、図面により本発明の詳細な説明する。Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of a suction and drainage device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and shows an example in which the pressure regulating section (1) and the liquid collecting section (2) each consist of two pieces. Pressure regulating part (1) and liquid collection part (
For both of 2), hollow plastic containers are generally used because they are transparent or translucent so you can see what's inside, they're lightweight and easy to handle, and they're easy to mold. However, containers made of glass, metal, etc. may also be used.

The first chamber (3) of the pressure regulating section (1) has an exhaust port (6) at the top for discharging the gas in the chamber, and is connected to the suction pump (5) by a tube (7). It is connected to the connection port (20) of the second chamber (4) of the pressure regulating section by a knob (11), and sterile water is poured into the chamber during use. Roughly, two connection ports (13a) leading to the upper space (12)
, (13b) are provided, and are connected to the two liquid collection parts (2) through tubes, respectively. Connection port (1
3a), (131)) are equipped with caps that can seal the connection ports, and when only one liquid collection Bih is used, the connection ports (13a), (13b), and (7) are not used. Seal the connection port on the other side. In addition, in order to use a liquid collection section with three or more chambers, it is sufficient to provide three or more connection ports, but normally five to six connection ports are provided, and unused connection ports are It has one sealed reading port (20) and one thin tube (18) that reaches the bottom.
) is filled with sterile water through a tube (11) in its upper part during use. In addition, when the pressure regulating part (1) is composed of three or more chambers, the third chamber may be connected with a tube, and the subsequent connections may be made in the same manner.

One or more liquid collection parts are used, and each liquid collection part (2) basically consists of a liquid drainage chamber (14) and a water seal chamber (15). There is no problem even if it is attached with a mechanism that can directly measure intrathoracic pressure. The interior of the drainage chamber (14) is divided into 2 to 3 sections by partition walls, as in the conventional one, and a connection port (
21) has been set up.

In the example shown in FIG. 1, the pressure regulating section (1) and the liquid collection section (2
) are each formed as an independent container, but it is not necessary that each chamber is an independent container, and may be combined and integrated as appropriate. For example, Figure 2 shows the first chamber (3) and second chamber (4) that constitute the pressure regulating section (1).
It is convenient to handle because the basic parts that make up the pressure regulating section are in one set.

Furthermore, there is no harm in integrating the third room and beyond. Note that only one liquid collection part (2) is connected, and the connection port (13b) is sealed with a cap. In addition, Figure 3 shows the liquid collecting part (2) and the pressure regulating part (
The first chamber (3) of 1) is integrated, and in this case, a tube is connected between the liquid collecting part (2) and the first chamber (3).
2) may be provided. Roughly speaking, if the liquid collecting part (2) and the first chamber (3) and the second chamber (4) of the pressure regulating part are integrated, all the basic elements of the suction and drainage device of the present invention are available. It can be used alone and is extremely useful.

In addition, if the chambers constituting the pressure regulating section (1) and the liquid collecting section (2) are formed as independent containers and have a structure that allows them to be attached and detached from each other, they can be rearranged as appropriate during use. It also has the advantage of being able to be handled as a single unit.

Next, we will explain how to use the suction and drainage device according to the present invention, the pressure regulating part (
The effects of 1) will be described. First, the suction pump (5)
When the upper space (12) of the first chamber (3) is evacuated to positive pressure, the first chamber (3) and the second tube (11
) into the capillary tube (8) in the first chamber (3) and exits through the lower opening (9) into the upper space (12). As a result, the upper space (12) always has a water column H1+
The suction pressure is kept constant by controlling the F power of H2. Moreover, the inside of the liquid drainage chamber (14) of the liquid collection part (2) connected to the upper space (12) is larger than the inside of the water seal chamber (14) than the inside of the upper space (12).
15) The water column is kept at a pressure H8 higher.

When the pressure regulating section (1) is composed of three or more chambers, the pressure in the upper space (12) is of course equal to the sum of the water column pressures of each chamber, and the suction pressure can be set higher. I can do it.

(Effects of the Invention) The present invention provides the following advantages by configuring the pressure regulating section with a plurality of chambers.
The feature is that the suction pressure setting value can be changed over a wider range by increasing or decreasing the number of chambers as appropriate depending on the purpose and situation.
It has the advantage of being able to set a higher suction pressure compared to conventional suction devices.

Furthermore, it is possible to set the pressure to a high pressure initially and easily switch to a low pressure according to the condition of the patient. Therefore, by using this device, you can not only set and adjust the suction pressure after thoracotomy, but also for suction and drainage after laparotomy for gastrointestinal, uterine cancer, etc., and breast cancer, etc. , it is extremely useful medically as it allows the user to freely respond with the appropriate suction pressure according to the patient's condition.
