[従来の技術]
従来、タイミングプーリーの製造方法にあっては、一般
に鋳造による方法、鋳鉄や丸棒からの歯切盤を用いた切
削加工による方法、金属板をプレス加工により歯形を形

[発明が解決しようとする問題点]
上記従来のタイミングプーリーを製造する方法によれば
、鋳造や切削加工により製造する方法の場合は製造作業
が面倒で時間がかかり生産性が悪く軽量化が困難であり
、更に切削加工の場合には切屑が生じ材料の無駄が多く
なるといった問題がある。また金属板をプレス加工によ
り歯形を形成する方法の場合は精度が出し難いといった

この発明によるタイミングプーリーの製造方法は、先ず
1枚の金属製円板を両側からクランパーによりクランプ
し、同金属製円板の外周縁にスリ割り用ロールダイスを
押し当てて回転させ外周縁から中心方向にスリ割ってス

以上のように、この発明に係るタイミングプーリーの製
造方法は、1枚の金属製円板を両側からクランパーによ
りクランプし、同金属製円板の外周縁にスリ割り用ロー
ルダイスを押し当てて回転させ外周縁から中心方向にス
リ割り、次に外周からスリ割り部にベルト掛部成形用ロ
ールダイスを押し諧てて回転させ外周縁に平滑面を形成
し、次に外周から平滑面に尚切ダイスを押し当てて回転
させ、金属製円板の外周縁に歯形を形成するようにした
ので、製造が容易であり、材料に無駄が無く、しかも軽
量化が図れ精度の高いタイミングプーリーを安価に得る
