The elevating offshore work platform can be raised and lowered along multiple legs. That is, a rack is provided on the side of the leg, and a pinion that meshes with the leg rack is provided on the offshore platform side, and the offshore platform is raised and lowered by driving this pinion.
By the way, when applying grease to the above-mentioned rack, conventionally, a worker manually applied the grease using a brush or a roller. However, with this manual method, for example, in the case of a leg with a three-legged column, there are six lacs on one leg, and a total of 18 lacs must be applied at the same time, resulting in a large number of lacquers. The disadvantage was that it required a lot of labor and time.

That is, the present invention has a pair of lubricating rollers that are wider than the width of the leg racks of an elevating offshore work platform and are connected to a grease pump to ooze grease from the surface. When the other roller is in the trough (or trough) of the rack, the other roller is separated so that it is in the trough (or trough) of the rack, and is held at the upper and lower ends of the link via sliders, respectively, and the center part of the link is held by a support lever. The lubricating roller is swingably supported in a direction toward and away from the rack tooth surface, and is provided with biasing means for pressing and biasing the support lever toward the rack side, and further includes:
is slidably and rollably disposed within an elongated hole formed at the end of the link and having a parallel portion and a rolling portion;
When no external force is applied to the oiling roller, the slider is located in the parallel portion to keep the oiling roller in a position parallel to the link, and the oiling roller comes into contact with the inclined tooth surface of the rack to apply oil. When an external force is applied to the roller, the movable element rolls on the rolling part to tilt the oiling roller in a direction along the inclined tooth surface with respect to the link. This is a device for applying oil to the leg racks of the stand.

According to this configuration, the oil application roller is always pressed against the rack tooth surface, and when moving along the rack tooth surface, one oil application roller and the other oil application roller alternately press against the rack tooth surface. Since the rollers swing along the surface and guide the oil application rollers so as to mutually follow the tooth surfaces, the oil application work can be performed automatically. In addition, when an external force is applied to the oil application roller, the slider causes the oil application roller to tilt relative to the link, so when applying oil to the inclined tooth surface of a rack, the oil application roller follows the inclined tooth surface, and therefore the application This prevents excessive force from acting on the oil roller and allows smooth movement of the oil application roller.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on the drawings. In Figs. 1 and 2, 1 is made wider than the leg rack 2 of an elevating offshore work platform, and is connected to a grease pump (not shown) via a hose 3 to ooze grease from the surface. A pair of upper and lower lubricating rollers are used, and when one roller 1 is at the peak (or trough) of rack 2, the other roller 1 is at the trough (or peak) of rack 2, so that they are approximately half the pitch or pitch of rack 2. They are separated by an integer pitch + a half pitch and are held at both ends of a pair of left and right connecting links 4 via movers 5. Reference numeral 6 denotes a horizontal support lever that swingably holds the center part of the link 4 via a pin 7, and the end thereof is provided in a cylinder 9 attached to a support member 8 on the offshore work platform side. The support lever 6 is always pressed and biased toward the rack 2 by a compression spring (biasing means) 11 provided in the cylinder 9. Also, between the link 4 and the support lever 6, there is a pair of tension springs 1 which always urge the link 4 to be parallel to the rack 2, that is, in a vertical direction.
2 is provided. Furthermore, the mover 5 is connected to the oil application roller 1 via the arm 13 (the oil application roller 1 is rotatably supported at the tip of the arm 13), and is connected to the end of the link 4. It is slidably and rollably mounted in the elongated hole 14 formed therein. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, the elongated hole 14 is formed along the longitudinal direction of the link 4, and the elongated hole 14 has a parallel portion 14a in the center, and an inwardly rotating portion on the center side of the link 4. The moving part 14b has an outer rolling part 14c formed continuously on the outer side of the link 4, and a stepped part 15 at the boundary between the parallel part 14a and the inner and outer rolling parts 14b and 14c.
A and 15B are formed respectively. and,
When no external force acts on the oil application roller 1, the slider 5 is moved by the parallel portion 14a by a pair of tension springs 16.
, the oil application roller 1 maintains a parallel position parallel to the link 4 (solid line position in Figure 3), and the oil application roller 1 comes into contact with the inclined tooth surface 2a of the rack 2, and an external force is applied to the oil application roller 1. For example, when a downward force F is applied, the slider 5 moves to the inner rolling portion 14b and is attracted to the stepped portion 15A, or rolls in the direction of arrow A, and the oil application roller 1 moves to the inclined tooth surface 2a. It is tilted along the outside (the imaginary line position in FIG. 3) to prevent excessive force from being applied to the oil application roller 1. Further, when an upward external force acts on the oil application roller 1, the slider 5 rolls toward the outer rolling portion 14c, contrary to the above, and the oil application roller 1 is moved along the inside of the inclined tooth surface 2a. Tilt (position shown by imaginary line in Figure 3). In addition, in the above description of the mover 5, the upper oil application roller 1A was explained, but the lower oil application roller 1
A similar configuration is also adopted in B.

Next, a description will be given of the grease application operation when the offshore work platform is raised (or when the legs are lowered). As shown in FIG. 4, the oil application device 17 according to the present invention is installed at the upper and lower portions of the jack house 19 of the offshore work platform 18.

First, as shown in FIG. 1, in a state where each oil application roller 1 is pressed against the tooth surface of the leg rack 2 and grease is oozing out from the oil application roller 1, the offshore work platform 18 is rotated. When the upper oil application roller 1A rises as shown by the construction arrow B, a downward external force is applied to the upper oil application roller 1A by the inclined tooth surface 2a of the rack 2. Therefore, as shown in FIG. The surface 2a is tilted outward to prevent excessive force from being applied to the upper oiling roller 1A and to make it easier for the upper oiling roller 1A to follow the inclined tooth surface 2a. Then, the upper oil application roller 1A is applied to the inclined tooth surface 2.
As shown in FIG. 6, when the upper oil application roller 1A returns to a position parallel to the link 4, a downward external force is applied to the lower oil application roller 1B, causing the lower oil application roller 1B to tilt. The tooth surface 2a is tilted inward to prevent excessive force from being applied to the lower oil application roller 1B and to make it easier for the lower oil application roller 1B to follow the inclined tooth surface 2a. Although the grease supply hose 3 is connected to both sides of each oil application roller 1, it is of course possible to connect it to only one side. Further, the link 4 and the support lever 6 that support the roller 1 may also be provided on only one side.

According to the above configuration, the oil application roller is always pressed against the rack tooth surface, and when moving along the rack tooth surface, one oil application roller and the other oil application roller alternate. Since the rollers swing along the tooth surfaces of the racks and guide the oil application rollers along the tooth surfaces of the racks, the oil application work can be performed automatically. In addition, when an external force is applied to the oil application roller, the slider tilts the oil application roller relative to the link, so when applying oil to the inclined tooth surface of the rack,
The oil application roller follows the inclined tooth surface, which prevents excessive force from acting on the oil application roller and allows smooth movement of the oil application roller.
