Abstract

PURPOSE:To check the amount having been used or residual amount of a liquid such as liquefied gas, etc., by providing one liquid level position detection means at least to a transparent part of a liquid vessel and dyeing the liquid itself to a color having the quantity of reflection of light different from that of the liquid vessel inside and detecting this difference. CONSTITUTION:The liquid 4 itself is dyed with the color having the quantity of reflection of the light different from that of the liquid vessel inside 14. The quantity of reflection of the light at the liquid 4 is different from that at the liquid level inside 14 and optical sensors 5 and 6 can catch the vertical movement of the liquid 4 and can detect the vertical movement of the liquid 4, namely, the liquid level position of the liquid 4 by the dyeing of the liquid 4 and this detected position can be outputted to the outside by a cable 12. The dyeing of the liquid 4 makes the liquid 4 black when the liquid vessel inside 14 is white and makes the liquid 4 white when the liquid vessel inside 14 is black, by which the quantity of reflection of the light at the liquid 4 is made different from that at the liquid vessel inside 14.

Conventional technology In recent years, automatic meter reading of used items such as gas, water, electricity, etc.
There is a growing social demand for labor-saving, rationalization, and speeding up of horizontal assembly and delivery operations by detecting the remaining amount early and from a distance. In order to meet these social demands, it was necessary to install a new detector with an output structure, but since conventional detectors use analog meters, it is not possible to visually read word counts on site. The disadvantage was that it did not have an information output mechanism. Furthermore, this detector accurately extracts the counted value as a continuous coefficient, and there was a drawback in that there was no simple detector that could be used to check the presence or absence of residue.

In these figures, a liquid container 1, an inlet 2, an outlet 3, and a liquid 4 have the same configuration as the conventional one. Optical sensor 5
, 6 are attached to the outside of the liquid container 1 by means of a sensor mounting bracket 13, and the optical hinges 5, 6 can be seen through the rise and fall of the liquid 4 as it increases and decreases.

The optical sensors 5 and 6 are diffusion anti-rJ4 type optical sensors, in which both a light emitting part and a detection part are incorporated. The light emitted from the light emitting part passes through the transparent part of the liquid container 1, The reflected light is reflected by the reflector portion, passes through the transparent portion of the liquid container 1 again, is received by the detection portion, and is output to the outside via the cable 12.

Therefore, the vertical movement of the liquid 4 is detected by capturing changes in the reflection of light when the liquid 4 passes through the optical sensors 5 and 6. In this case, the part where the liquid 4 and the liquid 4 disappear inside the liquid container 1 is defined as the inside of the liquid container) 1
The movement of the liquid 4, that is, the liquid surface position of the liquid 4 can be detected by making the light reflection ffl different from that of the liquid 4.

However, normally the liquid 4 is transparent, and the inside of the liquid container 14
are also transparent, so the optical sensors 5 and 6 cannot distinguish the difference in the amount of light reflected between the liquid 4 and the inside 14 of the liquid container, and therefore cannot detect the vertical movement of the liquid 4. . Therefore, in this embodiment, the liquid 4 itself is dyed with a color that reflects a different amount of light from the inside 14 of the liquid container.

Due to the dyeing of the liquid 4, the light peaks are different between the liquid 4 and the inside of the liquid container 14, and the light peaks 5 and 6 can capture the vertical movement of the liquid 4. The liquid level position of the beaten liquid 4 can be detected, and this detected position can be outputted to the outside via the cable 12.

When dyeing the liquid 4, if the inside 14 of the liquid container is white (a color that reflects light), the liquid 4 is made black (a color that absorbs light), and if the inside 14 of the liquid container is black, the liquid 4 is made white. By doing so, the light angle 18ffi is made different between the liquid 4 and the inside of the liquid container 14.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the liquid 4 is dyed black or white, but any color may be used as long as it does not change the characteristics of the liquid 4, and diffusion may be used as a means for detecting the liquid level position. Although a reflective optical sensor 5.6 is used, any means for detecting the liquid level position using light may be used, and the present invention is not limited to these.
