Parabolic antennas with large diameters are heavy, so it is difficult to support the parabola with one hand and tighten the screws with one hand, and two or more people are required to attach and detach the antenna. The latter is called the Bayonet method, and has a structure in which the claw 22 of the parabolic antenna 21 is fitted into the claw 24 of the communication device 23 and rotated in the direction of the arrow to fix it. Because the threads were interlocked and fixed, a large amount of force was required due to friction, and sometimes the metal threads got stuck and could not be attached or removed.

, attach the V attachment (male) to the parabolic antenna.
In this example, the parabolic antenna 3 is attached to the V groove 35 of the V attachment (female) 34 of the communication device 33.
Attachment and detachment can be performed by simply dropping the V-attachment (male) 32 of No. 1 in the direction of gravity and moving the retaining lock 36 in the direction of arrow A. The male V-attachment 32 has a cross section as shown by B-B' in FIG. 3b, and the female V-attachment 34 has a cross-section shown by
It has a cross section as shown by -C'. A radiator insertion hole is provided approximately in the center of the male attachment, and the radiator is coupled to the communication device through this insertion hole. Therefore, it does not require any force, and the number of operations is small, so it can of course be performed by one person.
