し得るタイプの可変抵抗器に関する。

に見映えの良い板状部材すなわち化粧板が介装さ
れており、この化粧板によつて抵抗体及び摺動子
が覆い隠されてこれらが当該機器外からは見えな
いようになつている。かかる化粧板を有する従来
の可変抵抗器にあつては、摺動子を移動させるた
めに操作者からつまみ部材に加えられる力の作用
点は、この化粧板が存在しない場合に比して、抵
抗体と摺動子との接触箇所すなわち摩擦力の生じ
る位置からより遠く離れた位置に存在する。それ
故、かかる化粧板を有する従来の可変抵抗器にあ
つては、外観は良いのであるが、上記した如く力
の作用点と摩擦力の生じる位置とがかなり離れて
いるために、つまみ部材を操作するとつまみ部材
が移動方向に傾斜したりしてその移動が滑らかに
行なわれず、操作に不快感が伴う欠点がある。
