Abstract

PURPOSE:To expand the conveniency of a disk player by inputting an additional data in succession to a lead-in data into a nonvolatile storage means so as to prevent volatilization of data at disk loading/unloading thereby eliminating the need for re-recording. CONSTITUTION:In inputting the titled of a disk to a CPU30 by a keyboard 31, inputted additional data in pairs with a representative lead-in data are stored in a nonvolatile storage means S.RAM33. In writing the additional data such as a titled into the RAM33 in an alphabet, the lead-in data and the additional data are stored incorporatedly independently of the resetting of a microprocessor attended with the deck door opening/closing of the player. As a result, even when a disk is unloaded from the player or the power is interrupted, a data stock storing the representative data of lead-in area information are retrieved at the 2nd and succeeding reproduction is retrieved so as to discriminate the disk thereby utilizing the additional data stored in the past automatically.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] "Industrial Application Field" The present invention facilitates the immediate selection of a desired disc from among a large number of recording discs in a conventionally well-known optical compact disc audio player. Therefore, the lead-in data recorded on the disc is added to the lead-in data input by the key input means, and the data is stored in the storage means, so that the previously stored data can be repeatedly used for retrieval each time the disc recording is played back. The present invention relates to a data input storage and retrieval operation method for an optical disc.

``Prior Art'' As is well known, optical compact discs control the number of songs recorded on the disc, the total playing time of all songs, the playing time required for each of the nine songs, etc., along with the musical sound signal data played by the player. The signals are paired and a synchronization signal is added to form one frame, and these frames are recorded without being connected. Therefore, the disc playback device rotates and drives the disc and uses 1-'L to specify the track number.
Operation buttons such as AY, 5TOP, etc. are provided, and the system control circuit decodes the signals necessary for access input by the operation buttons, temporarily stores the data in RAM, and randomly moves the laser pickup to the control target position.・Equipped with access function.

However, when the aforementioned disc is loaded into a playback device, the data recorded in the lead-in area of the disc, such as the number of tracks, total playing time, and individual playing time, are read out and temporarily stored, and the playback operation of the disc is performed. is displayed on the display, but since the memory is reset when the disc is removed from the playback device, all of the data recorded above is lost. In other words, the memory of the lead-in data is lost every time a disc is loaded or unloaded, and it is difficult to say the title with a disc loaded, especially when using a playback device with a large number of discs in an autochanger. In this case, in addition to the difficulty of telling the title, you are also forced to write notes on the disc magazine and re-memory the program every time you reset the disc.

"Means for Solving the Problem" However, in view of the above-mentioned conventional difficulties, the present invention provides a method for removing additional data such as a title by using the keyboard, following the lead-in data of the disc, as long as the disc is loaded into a playback device. By recording on a dissipative static RAM, the additional data could be used the next time by simply setting the disc, thereby eliminating the above-mentioned inconvenience all at once.

The present invention will be explained in detail using the above configuration. Figure 2 is an explanatory diagram of the data recorded on the optical disc.
A conventional optical disc has, for example, 12 songs in its musical tone signal. A pair of control signals such as a total performance time of 42:03 minutes and an individual performance time of 3:42 minutes is combined with a synchronization signal to form one frame, and these frames are recorded in advance in a continuous format. number, - track time is represented as disc-specific search information, and correspondingly, for example, when the title of this disc is inputted into the CPU using the keyboard Gυ, the static RAM (S, Ra+1vf2
) stores additional data input as a pair with the representative input data. Once additional data such as the title above is written in alphabetical characters from the key input means to the RAM 2, the storage means is non-volatile, so the disk will remain intact regardless of the microprocessor reset caused by opening and closing the player's deck door. Since the lead-in data and additional data are stored as an inseparable unit, even if the disc is removed from the player or the power is turned off, representative data of the lead-in area information will be memorized during subsequent playbacks. It is possible to search through the many data stocks that exist, identify the disc, and automatically use additional data stored in the past.

なお上記追加データとして、ディスクに記録されている

Furthermore, as the above-mentioned additional data, a program that can operate the performances of the songs recorded on the disc, the performers, or the playback device in any order can also be recorded in the non-dissipative storage means using the key input means. You can keep it.

``Effects'' Thus, the method of the present invention eliminates the inconvenience of data re-recording operations that occur in conventional optical disk playback devices because the data read from and stored on the disk is dissipated each time the disk is inserted or removed. It is possible to completely eliminate the inconvenience, and it greatly contributes to expanding the convenience of compact disc players. Moreover, even more remarkable effects can be achieved than in the case of playback using an autochanger that selects and plays a specified disc from a large number of discs.

In an optical compact disc playback device that uses a laser pickup to read an optical disc on which digital signals are pit-recorded on tracks, and performs data processing to obtain audio output, the number of songs, total playing time, etc. When data is read out by the laser pickup from a compact disc on which lead-in data, which uses control signals such as the playing time of a song, is read, additional data is inputted through the CPU using key input means following the lead-in data. The disc-specific selection information can be retrieved from lead-in data and additional data that are input to a readable and writable non-dissipative storage means and stored in the storage means each time the disc is repeatedly played.
