(B) Prior Art Vending machines generally employ a so-called automatic replenishment system in which the inserted coins are introduced into a coin storage cylinder for change and used for change when needed. At this time, when the coin storage tube is full, a rocking piece is provided above the coin storage tube to switch the coin passage so that the coins inserted thereafter are introduced into the safe.
51-25160 and Utility Model Application Publication No. 54-51898 exist. In these devices, when a coin enters the coin storage cylinder along the left side of the rocking piece, the upper end of the coin moves to the left due to the restoring force of the rocking piece at the lower end of the rocking piece, as is clear from the former publication. The coins are pushed, change direction as shown by the dotted line, fall, and are stacked inside the coin storage cylinder. As this stacking progresses one after another and the coin storage cylinder is about to become full with a predetermined number of coins stacked,
The lower ends of the coins whose upper ends have been pushed to the left by the swinging piece slide on the upper surfaces of the stacked coins to become horizontal and stacked. However, when the coin slips, the pattern on the top surface of the coin and the presence of serrations on the periphery prevent the coin from sliding, causing the coin to stop at that point, and the next falling coin to stop between the stopped coin and the swinging piece. Further falling coins accumulate on top of this, resulting in a coin jam. This situation will be explained below based on FIG. 1 and FIG. 2.
is placed, and the coin is moved to the coin storage tube 5 by the swinging piece.
Alternatively, it is configured to be introduced into the overflow passage 10. Since the lower end of the swinging piece 4 is heavier than the upper end, it is normally inclined toward the back wall 2, and coins are introduced into the coin storage tube 5, but as shown in FIG. When a large number of coins are accumulated in the cylinder 5, the lower edge of the introduced coin 11 is the top accumulated coin 1.
When the introduced coin 11 collides with the surface of the guide wall 1 and slides, and further comes into contact with the side wall 13, the upper edge of the introduced coin 11 pushes away the lower end of the swinging piece 4, and the upper end of the swinging piece 4 moves into the hole 1 of the guide wall 1.
4, the coin storage cylinder 5 is closed, and thereafter coins are introduced into the overflow passage 10. However, with such a configuration, it is necessary to rapidly deflect the coins that have fallen in a substantially vertical direction to a substantially horizontal state, making it difficult to regulate the passage of the coins and making the collision position with the highest accumulated coin 12 irregular. Moreover, the peripheral surface of the introduced coin 11 needs to slide on the surface of the top accumulated coin 12, but the serrations on the edge of the coin and the pattern on the surface impede the sliding, resulting in a coin jam as shown in FIG. occurred in various ways.

(c) Problems to be solved by the invention As mentioned above, due to the presence of a coin standing on top of the coins stacked horizontally in the coin storage cylinder and a coin spanning between the coin and the rocking piece. Since the swinging piece stops while introducing subsequent coins into the coin storage cylinder, subsequent coins accumulate on top of these coins, eventually causing coin jams in the chute and coin sorting section, and causing problems in the vending machine's coin handling system. There was a problem that made it inoperable.

A chute 3 formed by a coin guide wall 1 and a back wall 2 opposite thereto, into which coins that have passed through the upper coin sorting section are introduced, and a central portion extending vertically within the chute 3 and rotatably. A swing piece 4 is provided so as to be pivotally supported to form a coin receiving passage with the coin guide wall 1 and to form an overflow passage 10 with the back wall 2. A coin storage cylinder 5 is provided which stores a predetermined number of coins from the coin receiving passage in a stacked manner and has an inner diameter approximately the same as the coin diameter. The coin guiding wall 1 has a coin guiding surface that is inclined so as to protrude toward the swinging piece 4 as it goes downward, and has a lower end where the maximum of a predetermined number of coins stacked in the coin storage tube 5 is formed. It has a protrusion 7 on which the upper edge of a coin that stands upright with its lower edge abutting the upper coin is locked. The upper inner surface of the coin storage tube, which corresponds to the downward extension direction of the coin guide surface, is such that the left and right lower edges of the falling coin come into contact with the upper inner surface of the coin storage tube. A coin holding surface 6 is provided which becomes smaller to be equal to the diameter.

(E) Effect Coins are introduced into the coin storage cylinder 5 through the coin receiving passage until the coin storage cylinder 5 is full. In this introduction process, the coin falls along the inclined surface of the coin guide wall, and the lower end of the coin hits the coin holding surface 6 and receives resistance, so it temporarily stops in that state, and the coin falls under its own weight and the swinging member. 4, the coins are rotated about their lower ends as fulcrums and stacked in the coin storage tube 5. Furthermore, when the coin storage cylinder 5 is full of stacked coins, the subsequent coins stop in an oblique state with their upper ends locked in the protrusions 7, and the swinging piece 4 is kept in an open state with the overflow passage 10, so that subsequent coins will overflow. introduced into the aisle.

(F) Embodiment An embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on FIGS. 3 to 7. First, in FIGS. 3 and 6, the chute 3 communicating with the coin outlet 9 of the coin sorting section 8 is formed of a coin guide wall 1 and a back wall 2, and the chute 3 has a swinging central pivot. The swinging piece 4 is attached such that its lower end faces the lower end of the coin guide wall 1. The space between the swinging piece 4 and the coin guiding wall 1 constitutes a coin receiving passage, which is located above the coin storage cylinder 5, and the coin introduced from the coin outlet 9 is passed through the coin guiding wall 1 into the coin storage cylinder. Lead to 5. Further, the surface of the coin guide wall 1 facing the swinging piece 4 that guides coins is designed to project toward the swinging piece 4 as it goes downward so as to guide coins to the inner wall 15 at a specific location of the coin storage cylinder 5. It is inclined, and the distance from the lower end of the coin guiding wall 1 to the inner wall 15 is set to be slightly longer than the outer diameter of the coin. Further, a pair of protrusions 7 are provided at the lower end of the coin guide wall 1 with a space that allows the lower end of the swinging piece 4 to enter (with a space in the front-rear direction of the paper surface of the drawing).
When a coin is sandwiched between the lower end and the protrusion 7, the upper end of the swinging piece 4 comes into contact with the coin guide wall 1, and the coin receiving passage toward the coin storage cylinder 5 is blocked. An overflow passage 10 is formed by the swinging piece 4.

The coin storage tube 5 is formed into a tube approximately the diameter of a coin, and a manual coin replenishment port 16 is provided above. Furthermore, the coin storage cylinder 5 has a coin guide wall 1 on the upper inner surface corresponding to the substantially downward extending direction of the surface of the coin guide wall 1 that guides coins, as shown in FIGS. 4, 5, and 7. A pair of slanted coin holding surfaces 6, 6 are formed on the left and right sides so that the left and right lower edges of the coins guided by the coins come into contact with each other. That is, in a portion of the upper part of the coin storage tube 5 that corresponds to the substantially downward extension direction of the coin guiding surface of the coin guiding wall 1, there is a pair of left and right linear walls 18, 18, and a linear wall 19 connecting these walls 18, 18. It has a non-circular shape in which approximately the coin diameter is inscribed, and at the left and right corners where walls 18, 18 and 19 intersect, there are walls 18, 18 along the wall 19.
Coin holding surfaces 6, 6 are cut so that the cross-sectional planar shape of the coin storage tube 5 substantially matches the coin diameter as they go downward from each other, forming bilaterally symmetrical inclined planes.
is formed. Therefore, the coin holding surfaces 6, 6 constitute a V-shaped groove as shown in the front sectional view of FIG. 5, and the left and right lower edges of the introduced coin 17 are held by the coin holding surfaces 6, 6. .

With the above configuration, the coin 17 that enters the coin guide wall 1 at an angle is held at its lower edge by the coin holding surfaces 6, 6, and after stopping in the tilted position when it entered momentarily, the coin 17 is held by its own weight and the swinging piece 4. As a result of the rotation, the coin storage cylinder 5 rotates to the left in Fig. 3 using the bottom end of the coin as a fulcrum.
Fall inward. When a predetermined number of coins are stacked horizontally in the coin storage cylinder 5,
As shown in FIG. 6, the introduced coin 17 comes into contact with the upper surface of the top accumulated coin 12 and tries to fall down before being held by the coin holding surface 6, but as shown in FIG. Since the upper end is locked to the protrusion 7, it is held in an inverted state. Therefore, since the lower end of the swinging piece 4 is prevented from swinging by the coin 17, the upper end comes into contact with the coin guide wall 1 to form an overflow passage 10, and coins introduced thereafter are guided to the overflow passage 10. . In this state, since the coin is held between the coin guide wall 1 and the swinging piece 4, it is relatively resistant to vibration, and the coin will not come off and the swinging piece 4 will not return.

(g) Effect of the device According to the device detailed above, the oscillating piece is operated in the position in which the coin is introduced in order to engage the coin with the protrusion on the coin guiding wall, and since it is not configured in a manner similar to the conventional method in which the oscillating piece is operated when the bottom end of the coin entering the coin storage tube slips and the coin falls at an angle, stable operation is provided.
Moreover, the inclination of the coin guide wall and the coin holding surface allow
Since the movement of coins falling into the coin receiving cylinder is restricted to one direction, even if coins are continuously introduced, they are reliably accumulated without causing clogging.
