Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a metal belt and reduce noise by setting the pieces onto a holding band made of shape memory alloy and setting said holding band to a prescribed length by heating or cooling, thus eliminating the chattering between the pieces. CONSTITUTION:When pieces 3 are installed onto a holding band 4, said holding band 4 is extended into the state where the pieces 3 can be easily assembled, by the previous cooling or heating, and after a prescribed number of pieces 3 are installed, said holding band 4 is contracted to a memorized set length by heating or cooling. Therefore, the chattering of the pieces is eliminated through the mutual contact of the pieces 3, and the deformation of the pieces in the longitudinal and transverse directions is eliminated, and the deformation of a belt or the generation of noise due to the collision of the pieces on the side where the torque is not transmitted can be prevented during the operation of a continuously variable transmission, and the durability of the belt can be improved.

Conventionally, maraging steel has been used for the metal belt for the S-stage transmission line, and metal bridge bodies are installed in parallel 911 in order to transmit torque to the inside of the metal belt. In other words, the continuously variable transmission is capable of changing the gear ratio steplessly, and for example, as shown in FIGS.
In between, there are multiple pieces of gold till! Piece body 3 is seamlessly supported by belt 4
Metal belts 5 arranged in a row are stretched. Problems to be Solved by the Invention 1 However, the conventional gold fi belt 5 for a continuously variable transmission is molded to a certain length, and the metal piece body 3
is also molded to a specific thickness, so the piece body 3 is attached to the carrier band 4.
Backlash occurs when these are placed in parallel. Therefore, when the belt 5 rotates in the direction of the arrow by the drive pulley 1, torque is transmitted. On the tension side of the second side, the pieces 3 receive the force C that compresses them one after another and align properly. However, on the lower side where torque is not transmitted, there is play as shown in Figure 3, so the bridge bodies 3 are not always aligned in a constant manner, and the movement when entering the drive pulley 1 is not constant. First, there is a problem in that the durability of the metal belt 5 is deteriorated, and due to the backlash of the bridge bodies 3, the bridge bodies 3 collide with each other, causing noise 8. This was done in view of the circumstances,
To provide a metal belt for a continuously variable transmission, in which the supporting band of the metal belt for the continuously variable transmission is molded from a shape memory alloy, and the purpose is to improve the durability of the metal belt and reduce noise. It is. In addition, as a prior art for shape memory alloys, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1986-1975
There is a publication No. 562. [Means for Solving the Problems 1] In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, in a metal belt for a continuously variable transmission constituted by a support band made of gold FM and a piece body, the support band is shaped The piece is formed of a memory alloy, and after the piece is set on the support band, the support band is heated or cooled to set the support band to a predetermined length. [Function 1] Based on the above configuration, the continuously variable transmission metal belt according to the present invention has a plurality of torque-transmitting bridge bodies supported by a support band made of a shape memory alloy, and a metal belt attached to the boe. After the pieces are arranged, the pieces are always in contact with each other, so there is no play between them. Therefore, during the operation of the FII speed transmission, it is possible to eliminate problems such as the bridge edge of the metal belt coming into contact with the boob, or the bridge bodies colliding, causing the generation of IA noise. [Embodiments] Hereinafter, embodiments according to the present invention will be specifically described based on the attached drawings. In the drawings, parts corresponding to those in the conventional structure will be described with the same reference numerals. First, reference numeral 1.2 is a pulley for the speed ratio on the drive side and driven side, and 4 is a support band for the metal belt 5 stretched between the above-mentioned pulleys 1 and 2. This support band 4 has a thermal acid IM function. It is molded from a shape memory alloy with In addition, the above-mentioned carrier band 4
The metal pieces 3 attached to the support band 8-1 engage between each pair of conical discs of the pulleys 1 and 2 to transmit torque, and are arranged in large numbers around the circumference of the carrier band 4. They are installed in parallel. Here, when assembling the piece body 3 to the support band 4, the support band 4 is cooled or heated in advance so that it is stretched to a state where it is easy to assemble the piece body 3. 3
By heating or cooling again, the length is reduced to the memorized set length. Therefore, by bringing the pieces 3 into contact with each other, looseness in the pieces is removed. Effects of the Invention 1 As described in detail above, according to the present invention, by using a shape memory alloy for the support band of the metal belt for a continuously variable transmission, it is possible to assemble the body for torque transmission. , : After that, by heating or cooling I9 to shrink it to the stored set length, the play between the pieces is eliminated, and the deformation deviation of the pieces in the vertical and horizontal directions is eliminated. Therefore, the belt does not deform during the operation of the continuously variable transmission, and the pieces do not collide on the side that does not transmit torque and generate noise, thereby improving the durability of the belt. .
