Generally, in a sorting device for sorting mail such as paper sheets, the mail is divided into 100 or more directions, and the mail for each category is stacked in a stacking section. When the stacking section is full of mail, the mail is taken out from the stacking section, a direction tag is attached, and the mail is bundled.

When it comes to sorting mail, there are two types of work: a worker takes the mail out of the stacking section and sorts it by hand, and another involves transporting the stacked mail to a sorting machine and sorting it automatically. However, regardless of whether it is manual or automatic, it is desirable that the stacking section has a shape that makes it easy to stack paper sheets there and also makes it easy to take out the stacked mail. Sufficient consideration was not given to the shape of the accumulation section.

The present invention was developed based on the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is to ensure that the stacking section where paper sheets are stacked in an upright position can be reliably stacked and manually removed from the stacking section. It is an object of the present invention to provide a paper sheet stacking device having a shape that allows easy stacking.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. First, FIG. 1 shows a stacking section 1 of a stacking device, and this stacking section 1 has a bottom side 2 and a side side 3 connected in a substantially L-shape. A through hole 4 is formed in the center of the base 2, and a groove 5 is formed in the center of the side 3, which is open to the upper end thereof.

The stacking section 1 configured in this manner is provided in a conveyor of a stacking device, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. That is, this conveyor is provided with a conveyor 8 consisting of a pair of belts 7, 7 running endlessly in the direction of arrow a on the upper surface of the main body 6, and on this conveyor 8, a large number of stacking parts 1 are arranged at equal intervals. Further, the base 2 is fixed to the upper surface of the main body 6 such that the ridge line 1a formed by the base 2 and the side plate 3 is tilted upward by, for example, 15 degrees using the ridge line 1a as a fulcrum. In these stacking units 1..., paper sheets 9 such as postal items, which have been sorted, are stacked so as to lean against the side 3 that is inclined at 15 degrees in correspondence with the bottom 2 with respect to the vertical plane. be done. Further, on one end side of the upper surface of the main body 6, a through hole 4 formed in the bottom side 2 and a groove 5 formed in the side side 3 of the stacking section 1, through which the light emitter 10 and the light receiver 11 travel, are formed. The conveyor 8 is arranged so as to face the conveyor 8, and the conveyor 8 is started and stopped by an electric signal from the light receiver 11. That is, when paper sheets are accumulated in the stacking section 1 at the leading end of the conveyor 8 in the running direction, the light from the projector 10 is blocked by the paper sheets 9 so that the stacking section 1 is at a predetermined position. Conveyor 8 stops. Then, the paper sheets 9 stacked in the stacking section 1 are taken out by a take-out machine (not shown), delivered to a bundling machine (also not shown), and automatically bundled.

According to the above configuration, the stacking section 1 is formed into a substantially L-shape, and the paper sheets 9 are stacked leaning against the side 3 connected to one end of the bottom 2.
Even if the position of the paper sheets 9 fed into the stacking section 1 is slightly shifted, if the paper sheets 9 are stacked on the bottom side 2, the paper sheets will lean against the side 3 side, so the stacking section 1
There is no possibility that paper sheets will fall off, and they can be accumulated reliably. Further, the paper sheets 9 accumulated in the stacking section 1 are divided into the side surface of the paper sheet 9a fed last and the part exposed from the groove 5 on the side surface of the paper sheet 9b fed first. By pressing and holding the paper sheets 9, all the paper sheets 9 can be easily taken out from the stacking section 1. Further, the paper sheets 9 are stored in the stacking section 1
Since the sheets are stacked leaning against the inclined side 3 of the stacking section 1, they are stacked in a stable state in the stacking section 1, and the stacked state will not be disrupted by the running of the conveyor 8 or the like.

As described above, the present invention includes a stacking section whose bottom and side sides are formed in a substantially L-shape, and a central portion of the stacking section that is provided so that part of the stacked paper sheets is coated with hand oil. and a conveyor for transporting the stacking section, the bottom of the stacking section being fixed with the bottom side inclined toward the side with respect to a horizontal plane. Since the paper sheets can be stacked by leaning against the side that is tilted in the same way as the bottom with respect to the vertical plane, the stacking state of the paper sheets is stable, and the stacking state can be changed by a slight external force. There is no disturbance. Furthermore, even if the position of the paper sheets sent to the stacking section is slightly shifted, if the paper sheets are stacked on the bottom side 2, the paper sheets will lean against the side 3 side, so the paper sheets will be transferred from the stacking section 1. Leaves do not fall and can be accumulated reliably. moreover,
The paper sheets accumulated in the stacking section are exposed from the grooves on the sides of the side of the last sheet sent in and the side of the first sheet fed and joined to the side. It can also be easily taken out by holding and holding the parts with your hands. In addition, the accumulating section of the present invention has a simple structure and can be manufactured at low cost, so it has great practical utility.
